Did you ever try again on this conversion? I have an XJ1100 and would like to make this change if all possible. Also, awesome video, enjoyed it immensely.
I agree, it is amazing, how about becomming a Patreon so Andy can keep up the awesome quality. You can sign and pledge as little as $1 per month, if everyone who has been helped by Andy's videos gave just $1 it would make a difference, CRC drill bits polishing wax etc. etc. all add up and aren't free. :-)
Anyone on here ever use them manual to hydr set up you see online the one that bolts to original cable spot but has a hydraulic to help pull clutch...do they work ok?

How did you go back to the cable, after you bored and tapped the case to fit the slave cylinder? Helicoil?

Same problem as me, going back to cable, my chinese slave cylinder pull but doens't push back, i belive it is a seal problem

I’ve never used one mate, not sure if they’re any good or not
Just wanting to know I daily ride a 78 Gs1000 clutch/cable setup is literally manual and gets kinda hard on arms in traffic lol
