if i was in florida i wouldn't brick with no mortar because of the weather. just my opinion, i live in AZ. Wish i could get some ideas from you about my yard. Az is dry and dusty.
I have a question regarding the wall blocks, can you put pour concrete into the holes along with the rebars for an extra structural support. and run a drain pipe behind the retaining wall?
@Roberto Cartwrighto Its only 2 rows high, so does that really make a difference? If it was higher and supporting a lot of dirt, I could see the difference.
There is supposed to be only 1 inch of sand under the pavers. So they lay down the 3/4" conduit as a guide. The outside dimension is about an inch. So, they spread the sand out over it, and drag a board on top of the conduit for a level 1 inch. Then the pull out the conduit, fill in the marks left by it and wu-laaa! An even 1 inch of sand!
the blocks are actually held in place with the lip at the back which forms a mechanical connection with the lower block...the adhesive was a total waste there. need the adhesive for the caps for sure. the capss are the edge restraint for the pavers too so it's nice to have some wiggle room in the cap placement. Of course he glued them down before the pavers so he ended up having to saw them one-by-one. happens
My best friend, that's a great video. I will always cheer for you in Korea I'm looking forward to a great video. Have a nice day.

Nice job
Looks great but I’d be concerned about proper drainage for patio and walls since there was no gravel base installed

I wouldn’t have moved to AZ from Florida either.
Great job
More rebar. More cement. And a drain grate in the middle.
Nice
Looks great, but I have to ask: what is with the one light stone in the dark border over near the steps?
At 9:31 ish.
Not enough stones that’s why
Simple mente calidad
Great job but next time make the pattern match on steps look much better
Badazzz job really nice detail. How much do you charge for that job
Where did you get those corner blocks?

yes, ive just done it
how much do you charge for that job?
Cuantos bloque ucupaste ?
You shouldn't put sand as a base for a retaining wall.
Olá, qual a medida de um bloco e da tampa?
Pero no explicaron el procedimiento
Everywhere i look they are tearing out that stuff.
Most likely whoever put in in did it wrong.
What retaining wall bricks did you use?

not a big fan of using construction glue to hold bricks and topper bricks in place. Not a long term solution... quick, easy, cheap
Exactly, that is just not the best solution and I am not even an amateur construction person :)
What's the proper way to do it? Use glue on the top row and cap blocks are pretty standard. Just saw a manufacturer video that recommended it too.
