Brother boy the Australians just use wooden or concrete slabs as retainer walls and it all cracks it looks so messy and could be done a lot better this stone marble gorgeous looking wall is what every high end house should get just like solar panels

That's a great looking wall, I can't imagine trying to deal with the drainage in a scenario like that. It looks like a huge bowl trying to pour rain water into the house.
Thanks Jo, the owners were really happy with it. They installed a drainage system around the patio with drain tile feeding to a basin with a pump to get excess water away from the house. Plus there was already a drain in the center of the patio.

Very square looks great! I'm going to remove my wood retaining wall and replace it with concrete bags, so I have been watching how everyone does their footings to get an idea. Material cost is so high right now though I may wait.

I did notice the irrigation pipe being laid in with gravel but was curious about drainage as well.
