My backyard playground, the beautiful Wollombi valley and lower hunter valley are completely flooded again. But we will all pull together and overcome as we always have, since settlement.
Great roads for a day trip. Yes, the Putty road up to Greygums is a tad boring but the rest is very enjoyable. Presuming that was a Sunday so no wonder the ferry was busy. I've only gone that way on week days (I'm retired) however I may try it again on a weekend just to see all of the activity.
I've done a bunch of rides with my partner over the last 3.5 years (You have our previous bikes in one of your vids at St Albans) but had my first group ride last weekend. 8 of us set out from Gladesville, out to Richmond then up to Leura via Springwood rd. After lunch we kept west to Mt Vic then up to Bilpin and back home. Watching this reminded me how I need to get back north again. Our next ride will be up to Mt White then over to Spencer and home via Wisemans. Also looking forward to getting back to Wollombi for some Doctor Jurds.. Love the videos!
I'm sure you've heard about it, but haven't seen you do a video on it. It's a regular ride I do, you go up Putty Rd from Windsor and then cut across through Broke and instead of coming down through Wollombi you keep going to Cessnock way and then come down Freemans Drive and Mandalong Road. I'm a little biased because I live near the start of Mandalong Rd in Dooralong Valley but Mandalong road while short is one of my favourite roads ever. Just a bit of a mix up from one of your usual runs, you can then cut across Tuggerah and come down pacific highway to join the top end of Old Rd down to Sydney
This makes me want to get out there on the black top and just let it rip man. Such a fun ride. I always love the filming in your videos. You really know how to capture the ride.
I've had the exhaust on it for about 3 years now and still haven't done it so it's probably still in the "should do" column rather than "must". Maybe one day though.

My father-in-law said exactly the same, doesn't get busy during the week.
Great ride mate. I really enjoyed that. Thank you
Thanks mate, very much appricated.

Thanks Paul. Yeah, Bells Line and Putty are so similar. Similar but different, sometimes on the way home I forget which one I'm on!! 😜

One of my favourite loops.
Me too!
Awesome ride and editing mate. That looked like lots of fun - hopefully, I can build my skills up to enjoy that in the future!
Thanks mate, it's a good road for any pace really.

Thanks mate, appreciate that. Must be Winter for you at the moment, isn't it?
@@MotoRidesAustralia definitely! I'm sitting under 30cm of snow now, lol.
Arguably one of the best rides in Aus.
Absolutely, and easily done in a day which makes it even better!
All the best for the new year mate
You too Trevor, have a ripper 2022!!
Stunning video as always Vern, I can't wait to get back out there again! I miss those roads so much!
Thanks mate, hopefully see you out there soon!
Loved the ride ! Hope you have great 2022
Thanks, you too!
are you considering getting your bike tune/flash when you changed your exhaust?
