I just saw this, and I realised that the characters that end up at the inn in Dragon Quest nine are all characters from the previous dragon quest games, I allway thought they were made up. (this is the first Dragon quest video I've watched that isn't a soundtrack vid)
why is the music so quiet in this game? I don't believe it was this way in the Japanese version, does it have something to do with the orchestral recordings?
here is what would make it sound awesome: mute the video, and play Through the Fire and Flames by DragonForce throughout the whole thing. the song really goes with the battle

@lubu144 I didn't have the armor when I fought him, but I'm only level 46 with all my characters and didn't have too much trouble.

you cant make a second one until after the final boss when you get a second skull helm in one of the post poss dungeons
