To be honest, I did not want to pass IOQM, as I know I did not deserve it(I got 21 in WB). But, for those who deserve it, this is a big news. Proud of MTAI. They not only reassured our trust but proved that Olympiads are not a matter of joke🎉
Against who? 14-16 year olds? Or do you mean the centre authorities. Please clarify. And secondly (im no lawyer but I'm just using common sense) i don't think that cheating in an exam counts as a criminal offence. so the best hbcse or MTA can do is banning them forever . Which is only possible if they have strong evidences against the victims ( in case the victims end up going to the court) So i am not sure if MTA or hbcse have strong evidences or not , which i think they don't because as far as i know there is no compulsion of CCTV in an ioqm exam centre that (i think) is the only way to be 100% sure that one has cheated. so if they don't have strong evidences i think it will remain this way forever provided they don't take strong action against this and keep conducting the exam this way the next year and the next and keep going on forever. If it happens this way then we should not expect things to get any better . They should actually change the way how the exam is conducted and take measures like making CCTV compulsory. Sending their own invigilators . Making sure that students who fill the form at the same time don't get the same centre. I guess this is what MTA should do from the next exams onwards. And we all should mail the authorities to have these changes implemented. Otherwise we all will be doing the same thing each yeah that we are doing right now.
@@iXpress but that will NEVER happen. They will never jail anybody just for cheating in an exam like IOQM. If it was JEE or NEET or UPSC then it would have made much more sense. It's an exam meant for maths enthusiasts and those want to represent their country. It's not like ones future depends on this. So no matter how hurt we maths enthusiasts might be . This will sadly never happen .we had a literal air 14 in jee mains who cheated but what happened? Nothing. And don't even get me started on the neet one. So do you really think that they will jail people for cheating in IOQM. the answer is without a doubt a big NO.

Sir I am from C.G Kps centre but I assure there was no cheating that was taken place, I was selected earlier but would I be unselected now? How is it a good news if students who have given exams genuinely will be unselected ? This is completely unfair for students who have legitimately given the exam

This is done just to ensure ki deserving students ko seat mil jaye jo cheaters ne khayi thii. If you haven't cheated don't worry you won't be punished . Bas aesa h ki agar dubar se agar koi cheating ka mamla aata h same bande pe ya centre pe toh fir kuch hoga action. Abhi toh chill h koi tension nhi.
