But I constantly see people down play the game due to the time required to reach the point where you can see it for it’s true potential.

I feel like things like spears are very underrated. spear builds mixed with ice or flame charm are extremely annoying and hard to counter and not to mention, the talents are nice too. I feel like it would be nice to see more spear usage in pvp just my opinion.

Before progressing, I usually calculate and plan how many investment points for each stat i'll probably need for the build and the remaining points so I know what to go for mid progression. Writing all that down somewhere is really useful so you know where to look if you forget what stats to go for mid progression.
I recommend using trello to organize your build. I use it frequently and have tons of build I want to make in the future, all of the stats, talents, and equipment I want to have by the endgame.

Perhaps, the Erisia Golems found at upper Erisia also charge up a beam and fire them just like the Granite Golems do in Terraria as well. It could very well be that some of the Terraria monsters have already taken their form in the Etrean Luminent and we had no idea this entire time. We'll just have to wait and find out for ourselves.

You could have a charisma gunslinger build and still slap as all the cards are balanced. This is the very main difference between deepwoken and rogue.

Something I have always wanted to do is go double attunement it's not hard just that it takes time probably lightning and fire or lightning and gale or even lightning shadow would be really cool to be able to trick your opponent into thinking they only have to worry about one attune but then you swap to another one and you throw them off guard

if you're trying to make a good build and spec into magic at trial of one you're kinda screwed in arena because your mantras wont do a lot of damage and you're going to face people with forgotten gladiuses, flamekeeper cestus, .... because they spec into their weapon. therefore i recommend farming upper erisia golem for EXP or hive for gear.
What the fuck did they do with attunement. So for context, I have azure flames 75 flamecharm, and a 0 med basic sword So, 18 damage per m1 I hit my friend to test. Then used fire blade. The fire blade did half the damage My fire blade did 9 damage It’s level 1, and I’m confused if upgrading doubles the damage as in level 2 = 18 damage, or if level 5 = 18 damage
idk if i was lucky with my 450 hp lvl 30 fist build but what i did was first go in trial and focus your stats first that after you have all your stats train element and on the end your weapon so you can get all the good legandary talents and rares o and if you have under 43 luck you cant lvl

In my opinion is that Vesparian is the best race because of its 2 points in will power and fortitude with natural armor. I don’t really think other races are playable when it comes to pvp and pve when it’s up against vesparian
My favorite build, because I usually don't go for visionshaper, is a legion kata build with the following stats: 100 light 60 strength(for level 4 strength mantras, non-attunement so this'd be the bread and butter for non-m1 damage) 40 int(for overflowing dam, 1.15*damage damage is really nice with the other mulitipliers) 40 willpower(ardour scream, 1.4* more on top of the 1.15*) 25 charisma (taunt and tough love with charismatic casr, 20% more from taunt, not sure how much from tough love but it's another multiplier) 40 agility(I have the extra points over 35 and spinecutter along with vanishing followup will be nice to add to the build) 22 fortitude(22 points with everything else, and since fists of fortitude is so nice and the 2 extra points won't do much for the other stats, 1 more hp is okay.)

Go fortitude sooner so you can get conditioned runner, conditioned runner is Fortitude x Agility Talent

What I do I put balanced stuff into my weapon and the stat I need for a certain talent that’s how I make builds.
