      That's because you don't know how to use it.. one bucket of water ...step 1 change paint to water take the tip out of the gun put finger over spray hole turn pressure down squeeze slowly till paint comes then turn up the pressure. put that paint back into the paint tin. when it changes to water your done.. on the next job put paint through gun that will push the water out now your spraying paint...

    yeah someone else using a spray gun to prep walls, its such a great tool to use. I have a much bigger on which is on wheels so it easier to get around.
    really looking forward to seeing the next video

      Heck yeah! It's so convenient. But I feel like all the things to bring + the cleaning procedure only makes it worth wile for bigger walls, don't you think? For smaller walls I would simply use a roller I guess..
      I considered getting one on wheels, too...

      @@NickMoody yeah I painted a wall no so long ago. Pebble dash. A super rough surface. Took 20 minutes to paint. 30 minutes to clean 😂. But for smaller flat walls. A roller is so much better. BUT!!! It cost £8 for a roller and £0 for using the spray gun.
      But I totally agree with you. Rollers are better on smaller walls.

    • @NickMoody
      @NickMoody  ปีที่แล้ว

      You’re tossing your rollers out after every time you use them? 😂

      @@NickMoody nah I bag my rollers. Never wash them. They stay good for about 2 weeks. After that hard as concrete 🤦‍♂️

    Hey nick, we use this model Wagner at work ( decorating) and agree that it’s a great bit of kit! I can’t wait it in action other than the standard application we all know! I think it will be really cool to see you use it in murals and am excited to see the capabilities ❤

    • @NickMoody
      @NickMoody  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No way! Yeah the handling felt really good. I saw other artists using airless sprayers to create crazy gradients. I can't wait to test that out. What exactly do you do with it at work?

      @@NickMoody use it mainly for painting ceilings to be honest :), I have an old Victorian living room to do soon, it has had a super decorative cornice with lots of detail in that would take so long using a brush to stipple, the sprayer will half the the labour time for sure! Just have to make sure everything is masked up well as I find over spray can be a big issue on furniture. Loving the content your puting out :)

      @@Niffty-fv8hx That's so cool! I'd almost say it'll save you even more time than that. Yeah, randomly putting paint on the clients furniture is probably nothing they would appreciate haha! 😂

    Hi,
    Ich hätte da nochmal eine Frage zum Thema sprayen. Wäre es möglich eine Anhänger Plane zu besprühen, wenn ja was bräuchte man dazu damit die Farbe hält.
    Mit freundlichen Grüßen

    • @NickMoody
      @NickMoody  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Moin, da kann ich dir leider keine verbindliche Empfehlung zu geben - Hab noch nie eine PVC Plane oder ähnliches besprüht. Ich würde sie entfetten und vermutlich mit Montana Universal Primer vorbehandeln. Ich würde es aber dringend vorab testen, beobachten und mir noch eine zweite Meinung einholen.
