RetroAchievements is peak cringe. aChIeVeMeNtS in games have been disastrously bad for gaming. Non-achievement, non-content bullshit fluff that adds absolutely nothing to games. RetroAchievements is pretty much peak brain rot.

I think at best achievements are a nice incentive to enjoy the most a game has to offer and at worst it doesn't affect gameplay or experience at all. Could you explain why you see it like that? I'm very curious
