Go to Practice mode. Turn on Command History and sent CPU Opponent Action 1 to Guard All. If you've never done an Electric before, focus on pressing d/f + 2 at the SAME TIME (even if you're not doing the full electric right away). The command history should put them on top of each other. Notation remarks: f, N, d, d/f+2 f- forward N- Neutral (don't press any direction) d- down d/f- down/forward You can slightly shorten/extend the timing between the N and Down, and between Down and Down/Forward. It is a VERY small window. If you're new to doing electrics, I wouldn't even worry or think about it.
You do it consistently, it’s really annoying that I can’t do it consistently, I get at least 2 in a row…. It’s so annoying. I’m afraid of messing up the input that I can’t incorporate it into online play effectively (whiff punishment, pressure,) I can only do it at the wall when the opponent is down because it gives me enough time to set my fingers up as they are standing up. Been playing for 3-4 yrs, Tekken King, can do every move consistently except this mf.
Mister, i have a question on how fucked i am. My controller doesn't have the directional buttons, its only 2 joysticks and i can only use one for the electric, am i doomed?
The best way to think of it is as one input altogether. If you've got the motion down if you press 2 pretty much as you start it you're going to get EWGF/EWHF
I think not, considering you can vary the timing quite a bit. The slow > fast speeds in the video aren't the video slowed down, but the input. But really, it's whatever works for you. Course, fastest = least frames so there's that.
@@Hiiiro it's not that that's what's happening in actuality. I reality you're still just hitting 2 with the df but I find thinking of it as one input makes it so I'm not slow and wgf by mistake. It's not necessarily fast, it's just one motion

Electrics require you to press df and 2 at the same time, so doing the crouch dash input and attempting to time the 2 at the same time as the last part of the crouch dash input (aka the df part of f, n, d, df) is key. If you find yourself pressing 2 too late continuously, thinking that you're going to press 2 a little earlier, like you are trying to get it sort of in the middle of the motion, might help. Remember that this needs to be quick, you can't delay an electric like you can a normal wind god fist / hook fist
What Brainzzz123 said! d/f and 2 need to be pressed at the same time. Other than that, make sure you have a Neutral (no direction) after the first F (forward). Note: There is actually some leniency on delaying both the time of the N, and the timing from d > d/f+2, but if you're just getting started, just focus on the 2 things mentioned above. If it helps, because my right hand presses 2 slower by default, I try to THINK of pressing 2 when I do the down input, and it comes out the same time as the d/f :D
If you're a PPSSPP Tekken 6 player like me and having a hard time timing F2 then all you need to do is put a custom button with F2 toggle then all you need to do after is just F*D and press that custom button

The inputs are same on pad, stick, or keyboard: f, N, d, d/f+2. forward, Neutral, down, down+forward+2 (at the exact same time) Best to turn on the command history in practice mode but lemme know how that works
Yo. Just adjust. If you land non electric WHF, speed up the 2 press. If you do a crouch jab, press 2 a little slower. Pretty much just keep doing those 2 adjustments and you’ll have it down eventually

@@Pxnda113 For sure. It's really simple, but can be tedious at the start. First things first, set the training bot to block everything. So you work with the f, N, d, d/f+2 (d/f+2 has to be at the same time). There's a little leeway with how SLOW you can do all of this, so refer to the video. After you try it, you adjust based on what move is output. If you land a d+2, that means you're pressing 2 too early, so adjust. If you land a normal WHF (no extra electricity), then you pressed 2 too late.

This was done on a membrane keyboard. Edit: Honestly keyboard is the easiest to use (except for things like Jack’s Windup Uppercut). I chill on the PS4 controller, have the arcade stick with a K-lever which feels great, but just input-wise, keyboard is just simpler. I do have it set up in hitbox style but that’s just taste for the most part.

What controller are you playing with? I'm trying with PS4 Dpad and with a Razer Panthera; but I can't get the movement to be constant, especially when I play online (I think I'll go for a controller that has 8 directions like the one on the Sega Genesis to try)
i've used keyboard, ps4 dpad, and arcade stick. You might wanna try a different gate on your Panthera. I believe it's a Sanwa joystick and you can get different gates for under $10. As for the dpad (and everything) it's just practice. Just start slow and speed it up as you go. The timing is pretty forgiving (although you can do it very fast when you're used to it) Start with F, N, then D, D/F+2 separately. There's a little leeway on the length of the Neutral.

What controller are you playing with? I'm trying with PS4 Dpad and with a Razer Panthera; but I can't get the movement to be constant, especially when I play online (I think I'll go for a controller that has 8 directions like the one on the Sega Genesis to try)
i've used keyboard, ps4 dpad, and arcade stick. You might wanna try a different gate on your Panthera. I believe it's a Sanwa joystick and you can get different gates for under $10.
As for the dpad (and everything) it's just practice. Just start slow and speed it up as you go. The timing is pretty forgiving (although you can do it very fast when you're used to it)
Start with F, N, then D, D/F+2 separately. There's a little leeway on the length of the Neutral.
