Just a little tip guys who are playing queen Reina. When she wave dashes. Electricity sparks at her feet. That’s the exact moment you need to press 2+3 or 2. Be mindful that it also has a sound as well to help with learning the timing. You may not see the electricity depending on customization seems like tho. See you online 🎉
yeah but feels kinda cheap in my opinion, unless you are a ONE TRICK Reina Main. Cause in my world, i want to have consisten Electrics with all Mishimas
@@TokyoAqua78ya it only works w kaz and reina. i wish it worked for all, i use it for those two but i wanna play devil jin so bad and get his electrics down so bad
Appreciate the one hand suggestion, works wonders. For anyone wanting to learn two hand method, would recommend starting by just getting the down/forward and 2 input to show up at the same time. You pretty much have to rewire your brain if you've been gaming for a while.
Ive played tekken since the 90s, first time I've came across this 2+3 button keybinding and its a gamechanger thanks so much subbed and looking forward to more content
My brother at first, I was getting really discouraged, not knowing how to help myself. Even after watching your video, I was stuck at the exact same point of execution struggling to master it but then I kept reading through the comments of the other players making use of remapping 2+3 to a single button for instance (which I do frankly a lot for my mains individually), seeing real success. I didn’t want to give up. The amount of positive comments made me reconsider my work- and training ethic, so I kept going. My EWGF Rate has 100x now through mapping 2+3 on Reina to L1 and I’m almost always guaranteed to hit + multiple follow ups after 1 1/2 Hour of practicing!!! 👊🏼 In the future I might be able to find a different method or do ut the OG way with a Hitbox or something similar but for now, I’m perfectly fine. Also, it’s training my coordination skills with my left hand! :D You made my life significantly easier and better! Thanks a lot mate!
A tip I discovered myself: For those who are playing on controller, press the right d-pad and then switch immediately to the joysticks to perform the rest of the input.
listen. This is my testimony. i was thinking about maining reina since the nerfed azucena. I hopped on today and found your guide and with in 20 mins i can do electrics 5 times in a row because of you. i subbed and thank you!
Even though it so easy once you break it down, I just never noticed the slight electric sound/dash to indicate I was doing it right. Video saved me a bunch of time and now I'm doing the move super easy.
Oh my god, mapping a trigger to 2+3 makes it so much easier! I could barely get an electric to come out 1 out of 10 times, now I can do two electrics in a bnb consistently. Thank you!!!
Watching this I realized the speed wasn't as important as the timing (to start) so now with the combo input I can electric almost every time, and to my surprise I'm doing it pretty consistently with just the 2 input now too. Like I could do this twice in half an hour on a good day and I've just done it 30 times within a few min of watching this lol wow 👏👏👏 good stuff sir
I know it’s been said a lot right now. But man the 2+3 input helps so much. I can do it consistently now after like half an hour of practice (plus 1 hour practice without the 2+3) Thanks for the tip!!
Nice vid. Putting 3+2 on left bumper works for me too, consistent ewgf. It doesn't make sense to me though. I can't do ewgf just by pressing 2 (y) on my xbox controller, even though I'm doing the exact same timing

Bumper bind definitely helps, you can do this with Hwoarang’s just frame sky rocket too. And what’s even better with him is if you miss input it you can get DF1 if you bind 1+4 which is a safe fast mid (unlike miss inputting electric which is -10)

Personally, the technique that worked most consistently for me was to go to press 2 and down at the same time, starting from the bottom left corner of the down button. (Just a warning though, this will hurt the first few times you do it) Once you've found the method that seems the most consistent, you just need to practice it. I try to practice around 50 or more WGFs a day, if I can. When you feel you can do the Electric regularly, start practicing it in wavedashes and combos as well. It may take months to get it consistent, and even longer to get it down in matches, but you'll get there in time.
