Kazuya is stuck in linear lab hell and Jins mind has been inpreganated with Alisa's AI Auto pilot chip put ya feet up Jin get cozy bring me some food after the horwrang

as a jin main, unless you want more range or use heat, i would recommend to sticking to 2,4 as your non-launcher punish because it puts you right into a zen/wavedash mixup
Tekken newbie here. Tried to main Kazuya, but I don’t have the fortitude to break through the execution firewall, assuming I even have the physical potential to, so I’m switching to Jin. I need to swallow my pride and start with an easier character so videos like this one are a huge blessing to me.
@TekkenEnjoyerM8 you'll notice often when you press two buttons only one attack comes out. This is the same principle. With this string, if you press the right button and ignore the other ones
Gotta ask man, how do you consistently pull of an EWHF, i do it and it’s only the normal one but If I can learn the Electric one consistently, would help a lot
What’s an easy way to do the right *star down down diagonal 2 move? I feel like my fingers never are able to input them successfully? Is there a button layout that’s easy to use? Thanks
I've heard of people who play on controller bind 2 to a shoulder button so that they can just squeeze a finger at the same time as you hit the down/forward. For me on fight stick, it helps to start hitting the button as soon as I'm about to pull the lever down
Heres a tip that works for me. Loosen up those fingers and relax yo wrist. Tap foward. Just tap. That means let go of the forward button. When you see jin take that step, then slide your finger across from ⬇️ to ↘️ and he'll wave dash. Practice doing smooth wave dashes. You only need one to slide over and connect the hit. And its FaSt. Practice allot but also take breaks. You're not focused you get fucked. You will get used to it.
Hello I can’t launch after the “forward 4” counter hit. I try to dash and then press back 3 like u but it doesn’t work. It always misses because it’s too far away. Did they remove launching from counter hit with “forward 4”

If the second hit is a counter hit, the launch is guaranteed. Usually, it's easiest to bait out a whiff punish by intentionally whiffing the first hit, then clipping them with the second hit, still tricky though.
@@ryanhass8716 I was in training earlier and was able to loop this three times and get to the wall for a wall finisher, or if if the wall was destructible continue for a few more hits. Didn’t have to get the counter hit or wiff anything. Got between 90-100 damage when I didn’t drop it.
are there any tricks in connecting f,n,df+2-> dash -> f,n,df+2-> b3? I have 90% fails on the f,n,df+2 --> b3 part also how to connect f,n,df+1 -> f,n,df+2?
Depends on the player, the better you are the better jin becomes. He's not like other characters that carry the player like eddy. He's a all-around honest character. You actually need to learn jin unlike devil jin you just need to learn his autos. I also feel like devil jin is more punishable than jin would be
This character is fucking stacked, always makes my ft10 with my friend more intense than needed. Still question why the fuck he has a d2 that cannot be launched punished by some characters. For reference I main Bryan
LMAOOO... nah man jin ain't that broken.. U haven't played against dragonov or king or maybe devil jin yet.. I do agree that jin got some insane strength such as d2.. But jin is not broken
Jin's F4 is 16 frames and can go into stance for pressure Bryan's 3+4 is 19 frames and is -13 on block.. There is absolutely no comparison between the two attacks.. Even Steve's B1 can't compete with Jin's F4 as it's been heavily nerfed now

1:38 If you have a button mapped to 1+2+3+4 you can mash it after 1,3 and get the full combo.
WTF. Thanks brother. Helped a lot... any explanation on how this is actually a thing, mechanically?

Very usefull, thanks!

Thanks for the tut and for making the video have a bit of life in it and not feel like even more school lmao

This making me wanna switch back to Jin
9:31 years I figured this one out just goofing around in practice mode.😂 I didn’t think it would work but it did.
haha yes
Thank you, for the video you are the best
Bro i gotta go learn just frame electrics 🙏🏻
So hard to apply this all practically and at the right moment. My fingers feel like spaghetti during a fight 😞
Takes so much time to get rountined. Add stuff step step by step, train em. Otherwise you are too much in your head rather than playing intuitive
This probably wont get anywhere, but just a reminder that if you trade well with standing 4 CH you can get a full launch.
Gotta ask man, how do you consistently pull of an EWHF, i do it and it’s only the normal one but If I can learn the Electric one consistently, would help a lot
8:40 I struggle to do the micro dash for the heat smash, any tips?

Whats the input for the wall spallting heat smash ???

No, they didn't remove it. It can be hard to get it initially, so try harder)
Would you play your guide character even them not your main? Like raven and jin? I like to see your gameplay with them
yes..

What does i10 mean? I understand the 10 stands for 10 frames but what is the “i” indicating?
impact
it means startup speed of an attack
are there any tricks in connecting f,n,df+2-> dash -> f,n,df+2-> b3?
I have 90% fails on the f,n,df+2 --> b3 part
also how to connect f,n,df+1 -> f,n,df+2?
just try doing it from zen, f3+4, df +2 after the first electric
How good is Jin overall in this game at this point? is he better than devil Jin or weaker or perhaps equal? 🤔

why is my back 3 not landing after double electric lol ive done all timings
try spamming it. that’s weird tho it always works for me
just try doing it from zen, f3+4, df +2 after the first electric
dont think b3 connects on its own, b3 f1 will connect Im pretty sure
hate to be that guy but what is a i(x) number, is it invincibility?
nvm a quick google answered that
i means impact
it is basically the startup speed of an attack
What does i mean like the frames u can punish on
Yess
Man I wish they didn't make Jin so simple in this game
Yolo

i just wanted to know what attacks of jin in tekken 8 was about because i just played tekken 5 and 6 and i dont played tekken 7 that much
EWHF doesn't track both sides , only left .
what WS mean and with star mean
while standing and star means u gotta reset ur input so js dont touch anything for like 2 nanoseconds
This character is fucking stacked, always makes my ft10 with my friend more intense than needed. Still question why the fuck he has a d2 that cannot be launched punished by some characters. For reference I main Bryan
