The problem with being a yo-yo club is that when your yo-yo cycle ends it's usually because you're stuck in the championship. Happened to Watford, Norwich and West Brom. Very rarely do yo-yo teams end up solidified in the premiership

I loved Burnley when they had Dyche as manager. They were so scrappy, true Brexit FC. Heaton, Lowton, Ward, Defour, Barton, Arfield, Vokes, Barnes, Bardsley... Them finishing 7th in 2017/18 was incredible, I was rooting for them to qualify for Europa League.
Da brate, they’re reminding me of 2011/12 Stoke City with Pulis in charge. Same brutally British style of play, just different players: Walters, Whelan, Shawcross, Kenwyne Jones et cetera.

Perhaps a club should only get maximum 3 years of parachute TV payments twice a decade. The advantage the club gets is simply vast over other Championship clubs.
Wow! We at Carlisle United ‘hated’ Burnley since 1982! Incredible support in Division 4, back in the 1980’s! The huge support used to fascinate me as a kid. I recall once a meaningless mid week fixture- 2000 Clarets travelled up the M6! I don’t hate Burnley, in fact the opposite. I am an Ipswich fan and they are our northern equivalent- a small town with a great football footprint. Both places punch way above their weight, Burnley in particular. It’s smaller and much poorer than Ipswich so for me l am delighted for their success in recent years. UTCs!!

It’s been 24 years since Norway have qualified for a major tournament. Right now they have a talented and a great squad where this is probably Norway’s best ever squad in a long time. They have the potential to make an underdog run at the Euros or even at the World Cup. I think that Norway needs a better manager. For the Nations League Norway are in a difficult group alongside Austria, Slovenia and Kazakhstan. Norway should aim to get 1st place in that group but just like the last Euro Qualifiers which was a doable group for Norway they were a huge disappointment.
