@@lxxwj Practice NEW STUFF every week AND practice every day for 6+ hours. Staying uncomfortable and learning new stuff that you can't do yet is key.
I struggle with it because it's easy to play the shit that you already know and jam over changes you already mastered. One thing I do is write down on a list the things I need/want to learn and always start the practice sesh with something from that list. Then I get to improvising because it's more fun and maybe also a little easier.

I think this cover is totally nuts and this guy is a crazy good player. But I don't think he has such good economy. Not that this is important, because i feel like there are a lot of guitarists that dont have a good economy of motion, but are still really fast and precise players, such as this guy.
But if you wanna see some crazy economy of motion check out rick graham on yt.

Shit. Been trying to do this for a year and didn't know there was somebody who already did the listening work. Not only that, but I can't begin to say how good it is. You're insane man.

Keep growing your online presence man! you're probabliy the best guitarrist I've seen, if you keep posting consistently you'll get the thousands of subs you deserve. By the way, do you plan on posting any video on music theory, neck visualization, improvisation, ect.? I'd love to see your approach on any topic.

he should get in touch with the guys from Lost Symphony , it's putting together all the best guitarists that no one has heard of with the metal drummer from all that remains did a few tracks too... Marty Friedman is on one track... right now it's Oli Hebert, Matt Lapierre, Kelly Kereliuk, and Conrad Simon!!@!!! who is unheard of and really epic he's from near where i am from in NB canada he teaches theory at a jazz school for years now in montreal.

Its true. I've been around. I was a professional guitarist for 10 years and have spent 15+ years learning all kinds of wild shit from virtuosos around the world....and still, this guy impresses the hell out of me. The shadowing of this solo was immaculate, and some really solid stuff on his other content, as well.

Absolutely insane ! I listened to this solo on the original recording so many times but hearing and seeing it played on the guitar, I felt like the first time I heard it all over again. You got me literally standing up at the end, pumped as hell ! 🔥

love the addition of guitar to the original solo, makes it sound so full, and joshua's picking style is soooo profoundly relaxed and graceful, it is obviously effortless for him, so he can focus on the fiery emotion of this crazy solo by cory
