- I picked up this tractor and hopefully it will come in handy around the cabin.
To everyone who has watched these videos, from all of us at 99 Projects, including Max, THANK YOU!

You are a better film maker than you think - leaving these long takes in is great. You mentioned Diesel Creek before and I love Mike's channel as he mixes engineering with the fabulous countryside he has around him. You grew up on the land, you are of the land, so keep the tractor, it suits you and I will need it! Great content, thank you.
after 40 years as a diesel tech, it's nice to sit back and watch somebody else do the dirty work.
Just seeing someone willing to do the dirty work is different anymore
He practically STEALS a nice, decent sized, 4WD Mahindra diesel tractor with front end loader, he makes the broken frame STRONGER than the factory and puts it all back together in one day. He's a Fab Rat, definitely. Then he tests and shows rescued, repaired, restored tractor doing all kinds of tractor things that resemble useful work...what's NOT to like?! Cool. Keep on keepin' on!
if owner took it to trade at dealer he probably get scrap value . only thing he should inform the byer if he selling it that its had a major repair
I'll just say this. You bought it,you fixed it and it's yours. I think you did fine, real fine. You work hard and always work things out if not successful the first time. You try again. The video was good, the drone flight was beautiful. The woods and grassland, the plowed fields, the sunset, gorgeous!!!😊Pet Max for me.🐶Good boy!!
Thank you, I’ll give max a pet on the head
My favorite part about your videos is the “homemade” feel to them. That sense of “F it, I’m sure I’ll figure it out…” and diving into something. Leaving in the parts where something goes clearly wrong and could be construed as making you look stupid, think cutting a way to get the wires through the frame when there was already a cutout you couldn’t see or the tractor rolling away, that gives the videos a very genuine feel. Those are things you could have easily cut out and nobody would have been the wiser. Life isn’t perfect and no project goes perfectly. I look forward to every video or livestream you do and cannot wait to see the finished cabin. Thanks for sharing the journey.
I really appreciate that feedback. I like showing the reality of these projects. They aren’t perfect. I run into all kinds of problems, they have to be solved and ya move on. Again, i appreciate your perspective
@@99Projects, PERFECT? There's perfect, which takes 99 years, and there's git 'er done, which is 99Projects. You'll make a LOT more progress and have a lot to show keepin' "perfect" at bay, all day, every day. ;)
I agree 100%. It makes the videos much more enjoyable than the "pro" ones!
You know the reason why is because this man is very smart and he knows it. He's also humble and wants to display that up front. It's better than coming off as a know-it-all and being attacked for it. Humility. Get some.
"I'm not very smart." Dude, you just pulled apart a tractor and put it back together again!
It’s a struggle lol
@@99ProjectsStill you are NO dummy 🎉😊😊
Great little tractor. I'm jealous of all the toys--I'm older and living in a condo now but used to have a small farm so I'm (re)living vicariously watching your stuff. Keep it up!
Awe I love that !
You are so fun to watch, just like it was watching my dad when I was growing up. He learned it in upstate NY. Nice tractor.
Thank you
There's a camera drone that follows you on it's own and you don't have to fly it. Amazon $450
Nice welding job. Stronger than the factory.
Run forest, run...glad you caught the tractor
That sure was next to nothing and you sure made light work of tearing it down fixing it and putting it back together. Reminds me of being in the military in the mid to late 70’s we kept a lot of misc parts and it sure paid off with all those Clevis pins and other things you were short ! I was a wheel and track mechanic for six years . Nothing is worse than not having parts or tools. Rock on brother!
Honestly one of the best compact tractor videos I’ve seen and I’ve watched probably close to a 1000. I’ve owned multiple sub compact and compact tractors over the past 4 years (buy for cheap sell for more) and I have researched tractors to death.
This Is it the content I want when I’m researching a particular tractor. I’ve come across a few amazing deals with damage similar to this and shy away lacking the confidence to tackle them. Gives me more motivation for sure! Cheers!
Thank you for the feedback. I’m glad you found it helpful
Happy for you, that IS a great deal! Thanks for the upload and sharing❤
Wow, the way you work, you wouldn't ever have a problem getting a job. Smart.
Thank you
You said it! "I have the capabilities to fix it." And fix it you did. For $2600 you've got a great workhorse, why sell it? Thanks for sharing buddy!
Yea I’m feeling like keeping it for now lol
Hell yea one of my favorite TH-cam channels, Love when you post a vid!! Man I need a tractor with a FEL so bad!! I think you got a GREAT deal on it!! You could easily triple your money! Keep up the good work brother!
Thanks man. I appreciate you. You keep after the deals you find, you’ll have a FEL in no time flat
I found you in the TH-cam worm hole, and I'm watching all the cabin videos. I don't know why, but I can't get enough! Great job!
That’s awesome, I have a new video coming out Saturday and Sunday this weekend
@99Projects awesome, prefect timing!! Thank you!
99 Projects...great intro and hook, excellent little-bit-of-this-little-bit-of-that content in the mix, people like seeing projects, almost ANY projects, being worked on and being figured out and completed...upgrades and modifications in the future...part of the mix. Keep going, whatever you're working on that you think would be boring for people to watch, it's probably not, we/they would watch you tear off, repair, replace that cabin roof line as part of any video and LIKE IT just fine. ;)
Thank you I really appreciate the feedback. I’ll keep filming for sure
When I read the title, I could hear Jim Ross saying "He's broken in half!" 🤣🤣🤣
My vote is, keep it. That was a great deal. Tough to replace with something comparable, for that money. Youl will be using it all the time.
I think your right. I do use it a lot
This was Freakkin awesome! Saw this on the train to work and had a blast!
You got a great deal. Glad you could fix it.
Thanks for the spoiler dudeee 😂 jk
You made a nice path along the power lines so dem Bigfoots can easily walk through now
I feel like almost everyone has thought about buying the “super cheap simple fix” broken version of what you want and fixing it yourself, BUT YOU ACTUALLY DID IT. Great video buddy. Well done and congrats on the good deal
It’s a gamble. I was kinda waiting to find out it’s worse than it actually was but so far it’s been a good unit
@@99Projects I like it a lot. Like I said, I’ll give ya $2,601 anytime you want to sell it
I really enjoy how you get stuck in and work hard at mending the tractor. Good one😊
Looks like you got a great deal, because you can repair it yourself. Very handy piece of equipment to have. Good job.
I bet it will be more fun to use than the little toy excavator.
Great job welding and fixing it up. Looks like it did a good job mowing.
"There goes my tractor." 😂😂😂😂
I LOL'd!
Me too lol
@99 Projects Think about keeping it, you may need it down the line. I've got a Ford 1710 and I use it all the time!
Great job welding, as a former heavy duty mechanic your frame weld will fail in the future. Look up fish plate for frame. Basically you need angle on your plate to prevent cracking in the frame
I know a fish plate would technically be better, more surface area of weld, this will be fine
I don’t know anything about fixing tractors or anything for that matter lol.But you sure know what you doing !!! Great job 👍🏼
16:24 slick camera move while operating heavy machinery
For $2600 you got a steal. Working on tractors is one of the most enjoyable tasks of my job. But Concrete Kyle is right-blue or green, and avoid orange.
wel THIS just ruined me commenting my guess of $1500..... I come down here to write it and you just blast the answer in my face! lol - it's still a GREAT DEAL!!! ... But I would FOR SURE SELL IT!!!
Non-farmer city raised Englishman here, i only know yellow (JCB) and blue (NH). Curious to know, what are the orange or green ones?
@@adamholmes91 green=John Deere, Orange=Kubota.
Notice you using gloves. That's great, but you never do for working on the cabin.
@@mdtippett Ohhh ok thanks, i've heard of them before but rarely see them over here. The kubota's i've seen are either generators or demolition cranes.
I really enjoyed this video, I like the cabin videos as well, but this was a nice break
I’m glad to hear that
Sure looks like you got yourself a piece of paradise there. Beautiful property!
99 Projects...you're definitely doing something right, a lot of things actually. Your channel is growing at a good pace, if you simply keep making videos which show you and your friends doing a little of this and a little of that, all kinds of different things you do anyway and need to do, people ARE GOING TO WATCH, and like them! You're a little bit Fab Rats, a little bit Casey LaDelle, a little bit Vice Grip Garage AND Vice Grip Lodge (definitely), a little bit Matt Carriker and a little bit Raising Voyagers...that would be SIX HUGE COMPLIMENTS to a very newer, finding it's way, growing channel...yours. Just stick with it, when ideas or projects or gotta-do-it's come up or occur to you, go for it on camera. ;)
Thank you, I appreciate the feedback. I can’t say I would put myself in the category with those guys but I appreciate it
You will find a use for that especially with the 4w drive. This winter it will be a godsend. Just make sure you hit the green machine store for pins. Your going to need then. 😀
i really enjoy your videos, nice to see your cabin coming on, great tractor.
Really enjoyed the video, thanks for the drone footage, you’re a very handy mechanic. Cabin is looking nice.
Thank you
Very good deal on the tractor, good luck with it.
Duuuuude, good for you!
I've been looking for similar buys for a compact tractor, sub-compact backhoe and big wood chipper. I just got an AMH Ultra-MIG 200 welder at auction so I can finally tackle repairs and projects that require metal fabrication...just have to teach myself to weld first haha!
Great buy, great wprk, and another great episode!
Learning how to weld is such an important skill.
Welding tips and tricks on TH-cam, there’s a lot of others as well. Good luck
“I know the safety police are in the comments right now…” LMAO!! 🤣🤣🤣💀
24:45 reminds me of an area I mowed in Edwardsville, IL USA power lines, steep hill. A usually backed up the hill. At the top was close to a really nice subdivision with a golf course.
Very nice row of dimes on the welded cracks! Good fix, it looks like the tractor came down hard on the front end and busted. Great video Bud.
Thank you
DAM DUDE REALLY NICE JOB AND NOW YOU HAVE A NICE TRACTOR. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Andrew would be proud of that fix. Great video
Very nice tractor. U got a hell of a good deal on it. They are very useful. Multi taskers for sure.
Here is a short safety story. In 1971, I was in Midland Michigan wotking for a landscaping business and was a laborer always a shovel in my hand.
This one job I was shoveling dirt out of a front end loader and my boss turned off the engine and said "Lunch time".
I had to finish my job before taking lunch and continued working.
As I was getting ready to shovel out more, heard a creaking noise and the the front end loader came down on my upright knee and trapped me there.
I was stuck in the kneeling position for hours, but didn't hurt.
No one was around.
I was more upset that I was unable to finish the job. My boss freaked when he came back thought I was done for.
I had a impression on my upper leg muscle for years where that shovel kept me hostage.
Lucky it wasn’t worse than that
"shoveling dirt out of a front end loader"
My first thought. The dump function didn't work? I know, I know, the dirt needed to be put into something smaller.
@@SpynCycle57I can't remember why he had me neatly filling a hole. I believe it was a new tree, and we always had to shovel by hand around the root balled up with dirt.
The shovel worked fine.
I got a couple of Mississippi stories that would be classified as bull crap but are true.
Hehheh
OK, you got me. I figured I was wrong so I deleted my message. I was thinking I was wrong on China. Thanks for letting me know India/Japan! Good stuff. Great job on the welding!!!
Thank you, in my experience, Indian or Japan made stuff is pretty good quality
You did get a good deal. With your skills, you were able to fix it. Win-Win.
That’s a good purchase in my opinion, would be nice to keep that around the property!
Awesome deal you got on the tractor. Have fun with the new toy ❤😂🇨🇦
Well it works and look at you getting that cutting done.
Looks good brother, stay safe and healthy! Keep it, prayers sent! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙋🏼✌🏻✌🏻
Knowledge, skills, experience = priceless!
My dude, a fellow purveyor of HF. 🤣✊🏻 Indeed, that was a nice weld.
The way to take loader off is to start with the bucket ina good dumping angle and do not curl it in until you are ready for the arms to left off, than slowly curl your bucket up and your arms will left off. But do it on solid ground.
I figured the soft ground was fighting me
I don't know what it is about this channel, but you could make watching paint dry and it would be totally entertaining. Congrats on the new toy,, and please give Max a few scratches behind the ears for me!
Thank you, max said thanks for the ear scratches
One of everything is called a suside.used to do it as a kid all the time at the soda machine. Sometimes its good some times not so good ice tea kinda messes it up.
Maybe you have said in a previous video, what State you live in… but where are you??? We really enjoy your videos!
His truck tag says New York.
Amazing. Thanks for sharing. I enjoy watching you're videos.
Thank you I really appreciate that
Listen to that crowd roar when you're backing back out of the container garage around the 20 minute mark. I think the AI is so smart these days.
OSHA and Safety Sam would have me strung up by the short hairs if they saw me work on what I needed to get done, not everyone has the money to buy the proper whatever to work within legal and proper ways of getting things done. Nice stack of dimes weld, I'm impressed. You've got a nice workshop/tool crib, and an impressive assortment of power equipment! Love Max, he's a sweet dog, I don't know the smaller dog's name. Very nice marketplace find!
OSHA is not allowed here and I’ll have to add safety Sam to the concrete Kyle list
Nice deal on the tractor! Beautiful property! - watching from Lake wales, Florida
Quick search says that's a $15K - $20K machine used, so pretty dang good deal.
Strong Andrew Camarata vibes on this video and this channel! I love it. Subbed.
Thank you
I’m usually a carpentry kinda gal but you are peaking my interest in mechanics. Cool
I’m an amateur. I work an office job in IT.
That’s awesome thank you
YOU are one talented YOUNG MAN
Thank you
Your a handy guy to have around. Great video. Thanks.
This really be a mighty machine's episode LOL.
Good morning 99 projects
If you can fix it buy it! Its always good to save some money! Sounds like you got a deal on it!
I enjoyed this tractor video
Have a nice day, see you next time.
Thank you for hanging out and watching
I was excited when I purchased my first battery powered lawn mower, because I can charge the battery with my solar set up.
You have a tractor...cutting your lawn with a rectangle.
There is no way I could drive my tractor while brush hogging AND fly a drone at the same time. Nope, no way
It’s kinda hairy lol
Some camera drones just follow you on their own.
😂 true
@@MarciaMason2146 not the one he was using, he was driving and flying at the same time.
nice. looks relatively new too. It helps being a gifted person like you. :)
I guess when you had Mr.Red fixed,, he wanted to get to work, but Dad wasn't ready for Mr. Red to take off like thst!!! LOL!!!
Watching u work never gets old and u never know what to expect wuth you😂 have a blessed day!❤
That’s what makes it fun, ya never know what you’re gonna run into. I appreciate you hanging out
@@99Projects ur more than welcomed! I love watching ur videos!!! Can't wait to see how the cabin turns out! Awesome I bet!😘
I always keep my pins with my attachments.i out extras on my lever that raises my attachments..
You trust the safety of the loader hydraulics with your life waaaay more than you should lol. But great find, nice repair!
I’ve never heard of that brand of tractor before and I’ve been farming most of my life lol
I think you paid tree fiddy and a 6 packa Busch latte 🤣👍 Nice looking welds!
😂😂
The bracket that the loader attaches to, check the bolts where the bracket attaches to the frame.
There all good
You need a forestry mulcher to come thru and do a good knock down for ya. Being one myself that property looks like it’d be one heck of a time
Gotta have a Hi flow machine for those
I say try to fix up the tracker and if its not working out get rid of it. You can't lose.
Hell yeah nicely done young man !!
Great deal for a very versatile machine
2 suggestion as an Italian farmer we have to deal with deadly slope downhill scary moment, industrial tires it's a big no no no on grass going downhill, switch to agricoltural one on the rear, ok in the front if we want to load oftern front bucket, antoher suggestion, idraulic upper third point it's a game changer especially when cutting high weeds helps a lot to free out cutter... other than that, have a nice day! greetings!
The hyd top link is a good idea but I don’t have remotes in the back
Old video, butt u did an awesome job welding the frame back together. keeper for sure. does great using the bushcutter..
I love the collection you got going! It's like the minis cousin. Name it Red foreman. Scratch that, call it Red runner 😂
I like red Forman lol
My 1st guess was $1500 (U.S.A.), but then I got to where you said the hydraulics had been regularly greased. A seller like that wouldn't have let a piece of machinery like that go for only $1500; so I'm upping my guess to $3,500. Now I got to where you revealed what you paid for it. I don't think you'd have paid that much money for something (even that super gorgeous tractor) unless you'd been pretty confident that you could fix what was broken. When I saw what you did, I could understand your confidence. I agree that it was, as you put it, a crazy-good deal. But then, you seem to have a knack for getting stuff for a good deal. 😊
Not quite
Damn sweet price on that tractor! Nice mower attachment too! Boys with their toys!
Boys never grow up, their toys just get bigger
Nice work. Do yourself a favor and get a 3 point quick hitch. I bought a cheap Harbor Freight one and I love it.
I’m waiting for one to come
10:15 Parking brake? Max must have been on coffee break. Otherwise he woulda jumped in and handled that, right? 😂 Love the "nostalgic" mower deck. Was that field you mowed wet? Look like it from drone shot (tire tracks). $2,600 OH YEAH! Gonna pay for itself in less than a year, as much as you'll use it. Be blessed bro. Jesus Rules!
I set the parking brake and it fell off for some reason
Looks like you have saved that little tractor. Good for you. Nice little work horse. I say it's good to go. Keep it or sell it. If you sell probably should disclose the repair.
I usually send these videos to anyone i sell stuff to who is serious so they can understand exactly what their getting
i like the sound of its motor and the width of the tires, hood manirs for its size, price is right, I had a similar case International but its transmission was bitchy, now im hydrolic auto shift like everybody and backing into reverse is a breeze. have fun.
0:49 mark...nice flag in the background of the whole unloading shot, very nice indeed, feel free to sneak it into videos often, "Mazzle." as Derek Bieri would say, and he does. ;)
19:50 what the heck man? You just mowed my hay field. Now what is my cow going to eat all winter?
Shouldn’t you be eating the cow all winter? Lol
It’s my 35 years of experience kicking in that caused me to mow that field
I’m here for the sarcasm 😂😂
I’m also grateful for another video drop ❤
I try to keep it funny lol
i think you are a genius!! so knowledgeable at everthing you do !!
