    Very cool product. I have been adding PWM controllers from various manufacturers over the past 10 years to my builds and I have not found one that checks all the boxes. What you have done here looks very impressive and I am eager to try it out. The CAN input has me intrigued... I am hoping support for this is added soon!

    Love this! So glad to find more great products made in the USA!!! Will be a game changer once CAN is ready and can talk to Holley EFI.

    Great product. I would love to see a simple sensor like an 10K NTC Thermistor Probe for input rather than a screw in temperature sensor. The rush current feature is a plus.

    At the 7 minute mark you talk about dual fans, a primary and secondary fan. The 1st fan is PWM controlled, from the PWM Controller I assume and then its mentioned the 2nd fan switches on when you reach 100% speed. I'm assuming the Deutsch connector has a control signal which turns the relay on for the secondary fan to run 100%, straight off the battery, correct? If I want to run both fans together controlled only by the PWM Controller, no ECU control, then do I simply connect both fans to the "M" connectors on the PWM Controller and that's it, I'm done?

    SarahNTuned on here could use this on her 1992 MR2 with new brushless PWM fans

    Some concerns and constructive criticism I hope. Doesn't starting the motor at 100% eliminate the soft start capability basically? Also it would be nice to have the override Percentage adjustable for A/C usage if needed.And finally when is 0-5v going to be available?

    Looks like a great product. Couple questions please. LS3 engine Holley Terminator X ecu. This controller does not need an additional temp sensor, it can read temp from ecu? Does it run fans up to 100% when A/C turns on? Can it run fans for a set time period after engine shuts off? Trunk mounted battery, mounting the controller in trunk is OK? Thanks, sorry for so many questions, electronics are clearly not my thing 😂

      Thanks for asking good questions!
      So with the terminator X you should be able to use that temp sensor, you will just use the ECU's PWM output as the driver for the controller.
      Yes, the fans will enabled to be 100% on when it sees the A/C override // over ride switch.
      We do not allow the controller to keep the fans on after engine shutoff, realistically since your water pump isn't running you're not going to see effective cooling through the motor.
      You absolutely could mount it in the rear, or if you were using it as a fuel pump controller you could additionally mount it in the rear. Ideally I'd recommend running a main power with some kind of breaker in between front and back incase you were to get into a crash to shut off power, then run a main power stud for everything up front. Then you won't have to run everything under the hood all the way to the back.

      @@CWIPerformance thank you! Looks like it’ll do everything I need it to do. One more question about the AC over ride please. I believe this would be the ecu’s responsibility, by cutting off the signal at a set mph, but between the Holley and this controller, can the fans be programmed to shut off at highway speed with or without AC on?

    • @CWIPerformance
      @CWIPerformance  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@65427 I believe you are correct. You would control that functionality through the ECU. Our controller doesn't allow for that much indepth customization. If your fans are running at highway speed (without A/C) you engine temps are probably way too high.

    How many MOSFETS are used to drive the PWM fan?

  • @erikbsp

    Is there an imput from for an ecu to turn the fans on? So it kicks the IAC up for the fan power draw.

    • @creativewerksinc
      @creativewerksinc ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on the engine ecu…. I have never seen an IAC issue with current draw, I have seen the alternator drag down the engine.
