    God damn this helped me more than I can even begin to explain. I've only been modelling for about 4 months, but this video made my interior renders go from hard and flat with saturated light, to photorealistic. Thank you so much!
    Tip to anyone else who might need it: if you add glass to a window and you're noticing a large reduction in light, add a compositing tag to the glass, and uncheck 'seen by GI'.

    I really like the tutorial, but I hoped there was a tutorial with more in depth information.. so I went on your channel to look for more videos and than I saw you're concept is "short video's"
    So I wanted to say for me it would be really nice if you could make some longer video's aswell, I get your point but its also nice to really learn why you do some steps and what everything means. So we exactly know what we're doing instead of just coping you...
    thanks of the tut but I hope there will be some longer and more in depth tutorials aswell in the future!
    Than you have my sub :)!

    Finally a simple and clear tutorial that reach the goal without loose time!! Really thanks!
    I would like to ask you a question about the objects to put in a scene. Usually I spend so much time, looking for plants, furnitures, materials and I can't find so many resources online for free. This is a issue that many times make me think that could be better to learn and use other softwares like 3ds, Artlantis or Sketchup. Could you suggest me where is possible to find free objects ready to be rendered?

    • @pikasfed
      @pikasfed 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      try Archive3D. That site contains A LOT of 3d models of all kinds, from furnitures and even people! and it's the best (at least to me) site for furnitures! It's free and most of the times when you download the file it contains all the textures. Maybe you have to reinsert them or recreate some materials because imcompatible with cinema 4d (because all the models are done in 3ds max and the extension is .3ds (compatible with c4d) but some materials are not imported ':), this may take idk a minute? two?

    • @MStudioItaly
      @MStudioItaly  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Kay. Thanks a lot for your comment :) Concerning your question, I suppose that since GI has been drastically improved with R13 and the physical render engine, the option you are looking for is missing in your version. My advice, since R12 is now 4 years old, is to update to R16 if you can ;)

    bel tutorial, ma bel tutorial per le luci...mi sentirei di aggiungere che per dei render realistici servono tanto le luci quanto dei materiali ben curati, fossi in te aggiungerei al titolo del video sia il fatto delle luci, sia, soprattutto, il fatto del tuo set di "GI portals", siccome magari qualcuno cerca dei tutorial su come migliorare i propri materiali ed incappa nel tuo video che parla del set di luci che hai creato...ripeto, bel tutorial sulle luci e penso che scaricherò il tuo set, perchè da un bel look, ma rischi dei "non mi piace" solo per non aver fatto menzione nel titolo di questi due argomenti (che alla fine sono il cuore del tuo video)
