  • The Smoky Mountains are world-famous, and we think their food should be, too! We took our first family trip to Sevierville, Tennessee to enjoy the delicious eats and hospitality of the Smokies, and it did not disappoint. We tried great local BBQ, an amazing craft brewery, local whiskey, farm-fresh ice cream, and one of the best burgers we've ever had (The Elvis Burger--yes, it lives up to the name). We hope this video gets you excited for your next trip to the Great Smoky Mountains! Pro Tip: wear stretchy pants. #smokymountains #tennessee #foodie

    Welcome to MiCaleb Goes West! We are Caleb and Michelle West, and we have a full blown case of wanderlust. After meeting in the “most magical” of places in 2009 and getting married a year later, we have dedicated as much of our lives as possible to traveling the world, finding adventures, hanging out with amazing people, and eating and drinking everything in our path. We may not be professional TH-camrs, but we are professional life-lovers. Nothing gives us a natural high like experiencing something new, and we aim to have fun in everything that we do. We would love to share our adventures with you. Welcome aboard!

      @WeReviewU we are so happy you stumbled upon us! We live in central Florida, but we love to escape the heat and flatlands by traveling north to the Smokies. We absolutely love the area up there, and of course the food is amazing. We are so happy you commented because now we can see all your food recommendations for our next trip. We have to hit Buddy’s again because it was incredible, but after that we need to try some new places! Just subscribed and now looking forward to seeing all the places you try. Thank you!

    • @micalebgoeswest
      @micalebgoeswest  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’ll be honest with you-this area is not known for healthier food. It’s a lot of classic southern dishes, so lots of fried options, baked breads, and butter lathered in everything. That’s not to say that you can’t find good healthy options like sushi, but you may have to look a little harder. We are the kind of travelers who eat healthy at home so we can eat unhealthy on our trips, so unfortunately we may not have any foods in this video that appeal to you. But we hope you have a great trip!
