    What a day hiking the best views in Canada. It really does look like a story book. The trees are from a bob ross painting. As well as everything else. That water is really nice so friggen blue. Dang it would be hard to leave. And that valley. Geez very epic for sure. Not a bad place to eat some food. You guys must have been mentally and physically drained. A nice beverage and snack would be great.

      “A Bob Ross painting”….that is probably the most accurate description of Banff we have ever heard. We are stealing that! Those hikes were so worth it, but we were incredibly drained after. We didn’t film this, but we actually drank a few cocktails at the Fairmont after and highly recommend it as an after-hike reward! Thanks for watching!

      We fully agree! It’s honestly one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever seen. The mountains and lakes just take your breath away. Thanks so much for watching and supporting our channel! We appreciate it so much

      It’s definitely worthy of being a bucket list destination. We were completely unprepared for how amazing the scenery was. The lake water is just otherworldly. Thanks for watching!

    Where did y’all stay? We have a group of 6 hikers

      We stayed just outside of downtown Banff at Hidden Ridge Resort. We also had a party of 6 and this property features individual cabins that sleep 6 or more. It feels more like an Airbnb. It was super nice and clean, and the pool was epic. To get to downtown Banff we just took the 5 minute bus ride. banffhiddenridge.com/

    Hi, thanks for the video. I was wondering-are there bathrooms along the way for the long hikes?

    • @micalebgoeswest
      @micalebgoeswest  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi! There were generally bathrooms at the base for each of these hikes. We didn’t see too many restrooms once we started hiking. For the Teahouse and beehive hikes at Lake Louise there were bathrooms near the actual Teahouse but we didn’t see any past that point. Overall the restroom options became much smaller once the hikes started. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!

    When did you actually visit Banff? Just curious cuz I’m going there next week and I’m afraid it’s still gray and snowy!

      Hi! We went in mid June of last year. Overall the weather was perfect, with only 1 rainy day and it was warm and nice during the day. It was cold in the morning and night. We were told to expect all types of weather though so we were constantly prepared for weather changes from hot to cold and back again. Hope you have an amazing trip full of good weather!

    @micalebgoeswest hi 👋 how long was the ride from Lake Louis to Moraine lake on the connector shuttle?

    Did you guys get the bus from Moraine Lake to Lake Louise?

    • @micalebgoeswest
      @micalebgoeswest  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi! Yes, we did. We got the Super Pass that provided bus transport from downtown Banff to Lake Louise, and it included the connector shuttle to Moraine Lake and back. The buses were super clean and efficient so we were really happy with it. Wishing you happy adventures!

      Hi! It was only about 20 minutes on the connector shuttle. They run continuously throughout the day and were very efficient. It’s a pretty drive, too. Thanks for watching!

      Hi, could you please explain all the bus/shuttle bookings required in advance ?
      From my understanding, we need to book Roam transit from Banff to Lake Louis and return in advance and also book specific time slot.
      And then for lake louis to lake moraine connector shuttle no pre booking required. Can take any shuttle to and fro if you have the super pass ?

    • @micalebgoeswest
      @micalebgoeswest  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @ankitbhankharia3945 hi there! Yes, we booked a round trip bus pass on the Roam bus system from Banff to Lake Louise. We upgraded to the Super Pass, which included that round trip connector bus from Lake Louise to Moraine Lake. We had to select specific departure/return times for our Lake Louise journey, but the Moraine Lake connector shuttle runs continuously about every 20 minutes so we didn’t have to select a certain time. We went during peak summer season so reservations for the Roam buses were highly recommended. The Roam employees checked everyone’s passes and let those with reservations board first, then any remaining spot on the bus was filled on a first come, first served basis. We were very impressed with the bus system. It was clean, on time, and took away alot of stress from driving during to the limited parking. If you have other questions we are happy to help. Thanks!
