We Loved this restaurant. We went in February this year to find it was permanently closed. We were so sad and disappointed. Their Ruben sandwich was the Absolute Best.
Well that was good enjoyed those sandwiches award winning plus who don't like doughnuts lol and being from this area I've been wearing out that candy store since I was a kid lol thanks for sharing hope you all have a wonderful time on your adventures always can't wait for next time lol no pressure lol
We were in Gatlinburg this past weekend for the 4th. We hit the Pancake Pantry the 2nd day. Sadly the Food was terrible, eggs were cold and the bacon was way over cooked. Next visit we will visit the German sandwich shop for sure !
Dude, I'm sure the people across the aisle could smell the sour kraut. Since you don't know, the traditional sauce for a Reuben Sandwich is Russian dressing not 1000 Island but it is commonly substituted because a lot of people don't know how good it is with Russian dressing. Was that sour kraut cold? It looked like it was pulled right out of a can so not a homemade sour kraut and I could tell it wasn't fried which again, traditionally it should be fried before being put in the sandwich.
Love that village. Feels like you could be in the Swiss alps! So cool! Never tried the German sandwich shop but will definitely go now!! Those sandwiches looked delicious!!! We love donuts and will go there as well! We appreciate you bringing us all these great places to see and check out!! Sugar land was an interesting place, the tour would be fun to see. It’s Heartbreaking to see so many local businesses closing In Gatlinburg.
It seems to be ran by more immigrants anymore and not so many locals.

These were all touresty places, I was hoping for local favorites. As soon as I saw Guy's restaurant, I knew this was not local stuff

Yes we are here now and we went to find it and it is now a gift shop. We are so disappointed.
