My son and I were at pigeon forge recently . We spent the day there and tried several different things . My sis and niece are visiting this month , can’t wait to take them there. I love that I moved to Tennessee , it’s a much better place to live than Jersey .
I concur. Congrats on the move to TN. I am currently a resident of northern NJ, but purchased a house in Middle Tennessee last September. One more year of the NY/NJ metro area grind and then it's off to Tennessee. Just need to squeeze out one more year of a NY level salary and bonus since I will probably make less in TN, but have a better quality of life, which is more important. Enjoy your new life in Tennessee.
@@KayFabe87 Congrats on your purchase! i'm from Chicago and looking to move south also. Was looking at North Carolina but now Tennessee has my eye now too!
@@robotnielsen5434 Best of luck in your search. Moving anywhere that is not under the 'management' of Lori 'Beetlejuice' Lightweight is huge step forward.
We got back from Pigeon Forge Sunday. Beautiful!! Did the Alpine Coaster, Wahoo Ziplines, wine tasting, ate at Old Mill Restaurant (delicious breakfast), then moonshine tasting at the Old Forge Distillery. Also, did Nascar Speedway, Crave raceway, and outdoor tubing! There's so much to do there!!! Will be returning👍🏾
Thank you so much for all the work you put into this video! this is exactly what I needed. We haven't been to Pigeon Forge and it's perfect for new visitors like us. I love the recommendations and that you include cost of admissions.
Im staying outside gatlinburg right now in chalet village for 2 weeks. This is by far the best pigeon forge video i've seen and i've watched alot! Thanks for the massive effort you put into this, its paid off. Well done.
I live in Tennessee so I have been to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge 3 times and my favorite thing we ever did was the Nascar Go Carts track you pay one price to do all like 8 courses as many times as you want and they have a small arcade and a great mini golf course. And we stayed for many hours for very cheap. Love the video though!
Our car is in this video! The black Ford Escape parked next to the Old Forge Distillery with Florida plate, parked cockeyed to avoid door-dings, is ours. We had only had the car a few months. We always go up in early June for our anniversary. We’re coming up again next month to celebrate our 40th. There’s no place like home.🥰 Thank you for posting this. It’s a nice way to save money on the not so good attractions. We spend most of our time in Gatlinburg and up in the mountains but this is all good to know info.👍🏼
TWRA is Tennesee Wildlife Rehabilitation Administration if you still wanted to know at 31:28 time mark. Thanks for the great and informative video. Will be vacationing with my family there this summer.
Titanic is great for older kids actually, we took out daughter when she was 7. The children have their own version of the audio tour and boarding passes of passengers their age. She loved it.
Thank you for this. My husband and I are headed to the Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge area this Saturday and staying for 6 days for our honeymoon. This video gave us plenty of fun ideas!!
Thanks for these great videos! I can't wait for my TN vacation!! I love all the skylifts and you also included prices on some attractions which is much appreciated.
Thank you for making these as a mom of 4 trying to plan a vacation I appreciate you taking the time to make these videos and show pricing and pros and cons to each attraction.
Thanks for the video. Although you posted the video awhile ago we are venturing to Pigeon Forge July 2022 so now I know what to expect and can plan accordingly. Thank youuuuu 🙏🏽
Thank you for this video . Gives me an idea what the kids will injoy and not injoy..I appreciate it..cause nothing is worse then spending money..you shouldn't have!
On our list ... Dollywood ... SOON ... absolutely awesome ... and ... The Smoky Mountains ... hope to see You there Mrs Dolly Parton. Happy greetings from LizardClimber.

I absolutely love Gatlinburg! One of my favorite vacation spots. I've been there at least 4 times. But I'm surprised you didn't mention the Rileys attractions!
Thank-you SO much for putting this together! We are going there for the first time next week for a baseball tournament at the Ripken Experience. Your video was very helpful, & having 4 kids knowing the prices is important to us for budgeting.
Enjoyed your tour of Pigeon Forge! If you do a remake please include Parrot Mountain . It’s a great place with exotic birds that you can interact with. They have a vast variety of beautiful plants & flowers and great burgers 😉
Oh my god, they had MagiQuest at the Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City! That was super popular, and every time we went we would play it. I ended up pretty much beating it.
Tennessean here..and I have been to branson. I in no way feel it is the same. the beauty of our national parks and the history of the area is what makes the area. I didn't feel the natural areas in branson matched up.
Goldie Fatale Good point. I was more on the assumption that Pigeon Forge and Branson have similar attractions: theme parks, go karts, family fun spots, alpine coasters, etc. Though it is considerably different when you look at it from that perspective.
Yea. Whenever I think of Pirates my first thought is to go to the Smokey Mountains. And you say the Pirate show is less country than other places? Wow! Imagine that!!!
Right now I don't make enough to even afford to watch the video!! ha. BUT I love stuff like this-- if I live long enough- might get to go back.. but I'm getting old, and it's hard on me to do all that kind of thing any more:)
Harvey Road the new velocacoaster at Universal it’s so amazing I’ve been to Cedar point Dollywood all the big roller coaster places Six Flags and nothing beats that one for craziness
Thank you for posting this. We’re heading down soon, I missed the name of the winery tour if you could please let me know. I couldn’t find it on google
Me and my family ( aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins, and my mom, dad, and brother of course ) go down there every year. We always have so much fun! It’s a lot of spending money more so vacation, but it’s still a favorite place of mine. We’re actually going down in two weeks, can’t wait!
trashy mom so I live here and one of the top things I recommend doing is the alpine coaster if you haven’t done it yet. we do it all the time and have never gotten tired of it.
lol I live in Indiana but I go to Tennessee to much bc a lot of my family lives there, idk what it’s called but we call it the upside down house and it so fun it was on the thumbnail, we have done that ropes course, we stayed at the hotels at margaritaville and did all the rides, DOLLYWOOD IS SO FUN definitely my fav childhood memory, lightning rod was so scary, it looks like it has so many pieces so me and my cousins call it the toothpick coaster. U can go driving in the mountains and every time we go driving we see a bear, one time we saw a mama bear and 2 baby bears, they were not shy at all lol they were right by the car, in the upside down house all I remember was this one rope course that was fun. We went there during corona abt 3 months ago, and we weren’t able to do much, but we were able to do helicopter rides, I wanted to go to beyond the ends but my family wouldn’t let us bc of the rona ): but I’m looking forward to doing it next trip to pigeon forge! Don’t ask me about the Dinasour ride, I went there when I was little and I closed my eyes the whole time, all I remember was opening my eyes a little bit then there was a T-Rex in my face
Thank you so much for the video and including prices. We are going for our first time in April so I'm doing lots of research. What was your favorite place to eat?
I had never been and the first time was amazing! I saw and did most of the things you mentioned. Though you left out the scenic helicopter rides that are super cool but a little pricey. Pigeon Forge is a great place overall though!
I played trumpet in the Cedar Point Beach Band summer of 1991 and in a Dixieland show in the Red Garter Saloon summer of 1992. Two of the best summers of my life.
Awesome video! Thanks so much! This place is definitely on my bucket list now! It was really helpful that you told us all the prices. Although I did get a little bit of sticker shock!! I have a feeling that all of them where per person, but ya never know lol. Such a wonderful, informative video, thank you!! New subscriber here!! : )
