Hi, I’m glad you enjoy my videos! And sadly, this game is definitely too much for a 6 year old. I think this game came as a surprise to a lot of people because they were expecting happy friendship Carcassonne and instead they got major ghost problems and haunted cemeteries 😁 It’s very challenging! And I hear you on My First Carcassonne being a bit too simple for a 6 year old. Catan Jr is ages 6+ and that is pretty fantastic if you’re looking for a nice step up. Kingdomino Origins would be more of a challenge but a bright 6 year old who likes a tile laying game could do pretty well. Hope this is helpful info! Love that you’re getting a board game for your nephew ❤️❤️❤️
