25:00 ish - I love how you had the humility, after licking your wounds, to allow that criticism to become feedback that you used to make your product better. Way to walk your talk - good for you.
I think ego can be the enemy but it's also necessary to build self esteem and confidence. It really depends on definition but in my mind I like to pull from both sides. Make decisions not out of Ego, but it's important to address the things you are doing well so you can grow.
I agree in that I don't think that it is a good idea to dismiss any part of one's whole self. Ego exists and persists for a reason, and those reasons can be useful in some instances if kept in check.
Good point but when you say a bunch of fact less, baseless, opinionated, bias statements it takes away from the real message your trying to make. Podcast could have been over in 10 minutes than you start rifting about successful people when who knows maybe they only got to that point because of there ego. Only good example was the aristotle one or watever the fuck about the mountain. even fucking mlk u find the one bad thing he did and bring it up when it has nothing to do with what your talking about
Wow, if this isn't voted one of the best podcasts ever, it hasn't been shared enough. Thanks fellas!
