@@BondsIsKing You just bought a car and your dealer and mechanic say hey nobody is making your parts anymore....go buy a new car. It's understandable to be angry with investing into a platform that abandons ship and doesn't even off vouchers for free tools or discounts to people who paid good money to a dead project....
@@TOOL_TECHNICALit’s also possible that the line was t selling well enough to support. At any rate it’s not a unique situation with any tool manufacturer. The new line is better.
Just like milwaukee, im waiting on them to drop a zero turn mower with these big commercial battery platforms. For companies that love to tout their blowers, trimmers and chainsaws, its impressive their only commercial mowers are walk behind
DeWalt did unveil prototypes of a fully electric zero turn running on MASSIVE 3600Wh batteries at Equip 2022, which... didn't go ideally... so as of now the future of their Ascent line of mowers is up in the air. It wouldn't surprise us if either manufacturer or both, had zero turn offerings within the next couple years.
Nice new power shift tools. But I'm already invested in the Milwaukee MX System. There is no machine from DeWalt, Milwaukee does not have. DeWalt is 2 years behind.
How is Dewalt years behind? Milwaukee just recently got the 3 ring LEDs, Dewalt had that way before, and DeWALT had the power stack batteries before the Forge, and DeWALT has 60 volt tools with batteries that can power 20 volt tools, Milwaukee ain't got that, point is both companies are advancing the technology forward, neither one is behind the other, id say flex is behind, they have about 40 tools to DeWALT's and Milwaukees 300 tools
Milwaukee is still running 18v outdated system. Dewalts had 60v which is killer. And makita now has 40/80v system. Milwaukee is behind your delusional.
go for the flex 12" dual bevel brushless miter that thing is a beauty and unlike dewalt's known issue with their 120 flexvolt miter hybrid burning out motors when plugged in, Flex's adapter works with all the 24V line tools
@@TOOL_TECHNICAL Not really interested in Flex or 12'' miter saws in general. I'm already in three different battery platforms and not looking to add a fourth. I appreciate the suggestion though, thanks.
@@mr.anderson7089 nah I hear ya, my channel is about sharing tool info and repairs so I go with the better tool unfortunately sometimes it means joining a new platform. Batteries and accessories can get pricey REALLY quick. ~ Work Smart
Dude , did that grinder accidentally get stuck in your backside ?? Just have to ask because of that picture. It looks painful judging by the look on your face. You sound ok so apparently you’re over it , and thank goodness.
As a delivery driver I won't ever need any of these tools but they were pretty cool to see. 👍
All my tools are Dewalt except 1. I'd like to see a Dewalt retractable ladder with like 6 inch rungs. Narrow ones hurt or unstable feet.
Here are some more new tools coming out very soon;
1/2 router
DCF860 high power impact driver
DCF870 hydraulic impact driver
DCD1007 new impact drill driver
New framing nailer

Good looking out! Thanks for your comment
I'll never forgive them cutting the 40v line right after I invested into it 🤷♂️
So you want them to keep making tools that don’t work???

With the new power shift is Dewalt coming out with something like the Milwaukee Power Supply Kit?

EGI got a nice riding mower, expensive tho.
Is it safe to assume that a cordless bench top planer is within sight at this point?
We haven’t heard anything specific, but it’s not out of the realm of possibility!
What about a cordless door jam saw like the piranha 18 volt or a crane undercut saw

@@Lee-lb9qhflex is behind on everything, including years of existence. For how little flex has been around they've already come out swinging
MX Fuel definitely has the head start, but that hasn't stopped DeWalt from competing in other sectors in the past.

De Walt batteries are years ahead of the red China tools.
Any idea when their new framing nailer is coming out?
We heard from product managers at World of Concrete to expect a Q3 release.
The press relese yesterday said it will be out this month (April)
At some point id love for dewalt to release a stick vaccume in a similar style to the dyson v series
I've got the DCV501 which is as close to a stick vacuum that I found from DeWalt
They already have one i know i have it x
Still surprised Dewalt hasn't brought their 10'' cordless miter saw to the US. It exists overseas and basically every competitor has one here.
Did you see to recent leak?
