I’ve watched your channel for a long while. I’ve seen many beautiful homes, oh my goodness, too many to even make an educated guess. However, right out of the gate with this one- it hit me,” how on earth can she keep herself calm and contained as she goes thru this spectacular home and describes every bit of it?!” I’m breathless, myself….
Well, that's certainly not Captain Daniel Greg's house on The Ghost and Mrs. Muir! What an exquisite, beautiful, and tastefully decorated/furnished, light and airy large house! That house's interior....to include its wood paneling, paint colors, plasterwork, wood flooring, fireplace mantels, and all other adorning selections, screams peaceful abode, tranquility, serenity, and loving family home! Everything inside it is well curated and well placed, and the house is also very well maintained on all 4 levels to include the detached apartment over the garage areas and the exterior grounds. Wow!
I love all your videos of restoration because it is American 🇺🇸 heritage kept alive my favorite ❤️ ones you tour are the queen Victorian style and the mid evil 1800style house but I look forward everyday to seeing the beautiful house and the vintage style Victorian style house and the beautiful way you have verbally captured everything about the house ❤😂🎉😢😮😅😊
I absolutely adore these videos. Whether they are reviewing or selling these enchanted homes. The love and romance you both bring to the viewer is memorable. Thank you so much. Also…I always laugh about these mother-law suites. Not a chance…lol.😂
My son's are both builders, & many of my friends sons are builders. Idk how that happened, but I know many. One builds barndominiums almost exclusively & does a good job, but of course they're just warehouses, some build mostly commercial or outdoor spaces, but several do new builds & remodels. New ones are white boxes, no character, just grey, metal & & cold. Hardwood floors are popular now & clawfoot tubs, of course some wall of fake shiplap. That's REAL character to them. Outside the remodels are usually left intact, just painted white & grey or grey & white. Whole neighborhoods ( including my old one) are being changed, plain white houses or worse- duplexes. When I see an ad or post featuring one it's all I can do to be quiet. "You've ruined it!" is what I want to say, lol. But it's the demand, what people want & what sells! GRRR..lol Somehow I don't think my son would appreciate that but it's very tempting. It's almost physically painful watching the history, the character & craftsmanship just wiped out.
What a wonderful tour and incredible house. Those ceilings are stunning. I am so glad that it is being kept in such good condition. Thank you so much for sharing.
Normally I gush and oooo and aaaaah over the beautiful features of the home but I just wanted to gush over the careful camera work you guys always have here. I especially noticed it in the smooth glide up the stairs to the second floor in that long one take. Lovely camera work to show off a lovely home!
I love Tudor home's, always have but someone I used to know lived in Hillsborough CA and about 20 years ago all this money was coming over from professionals from Hong Kong and paying cash for nice homes there and were buying everything but Tudors, she had a Tudor, she did find a buyer eventually and moved to my area of NorCal. This home is absolutely gorgeous there's likely over 200k in just area rugs in this house and im low balling it
This home makes me want to be a better person! The organizational skills of the current owners is so satisfying and wonderful. What a special, special home! It's absolutely fine!❤️
@@OurRestorationNation I see there is a beautiful white house with grand columns on S Belvedere in Memphis. I was hoping you would film it. ❤️ I don't see how you can outdo the 1905 Tudor. I would move to Memphis for that house 🙂
Amazing, this home is a real treasure, and yes, Mid-Town Memphis is also one of our Southern treasures, so beautiful. Thanks for the delightful tour, you are a wonderful guide.
In Los Angeles area or the Bay Area of California this would easily be a $20,000,000 home. In Connecticut or the Hamptons maybe $15,000,000 so comparatively speaking it's a bargain at $1.585 million. This sort of craftsmanship is hard to duplicate these days. But maybe I misheard; did you say the finished basement was the 4th floor and contained a rec room? I might have missed it, but it looked like the basement was only a laundry room and storage space. The upper floor had a large rec room, but did you show a bedroom up there as well? So much to see. And the place is amazing. Thanks!
@@OurRestorationNation I do like the rec room they added. It just looked disjointed to me in the initial view of that side. I think it’s the two sets of brick steps. But if I had $1.5M I’d seriously consider it. :)
Interesting floor plan and beautifully maintained. I am not sure I am onboard with the addition off the front of the house no less. It had me very confused there for a bit.
The wood detail in this home is astounding. The only downside seems to be that they did not expand the kitchen when the completed the addition. It really is too small for the house. I would love to see what Laine could do with it though! :)
@@jenniferwatson9405 I agree generally, but not if you have two chefs in the kitchen and host dinner parties regularly (which we do). I think it could work for people who do not cook a lot, and I fully understand that it is sized for the era. But they did create a very big addition (family room) which also was not common for the era, so I just think it was a missed opportunity.
I think it is great when a couple can work together like you do-- it is dirty work, and during the summer heat, especially southern summer heat! OOF! Do you bring the dogs with you when you travel state to state? I hope so. How do you pick your houses?
@@OurRestorationNation I found it and then had trouble getting to it again, had to click on it while the was tour was going on, never had that issue before
The area used to be a garden/fountain but was changed to be more useable. In fact it evens out the house considering there IS a garage on the opposite side
Man houses are not made like this these anymore. These houses are stunning.
Not at all 🤦♀️
My dream is to own a house like this. Keeping a house up like this and in this way can get expensive but it’s worth it
Agreed! 💯
As much as I love a Queen Victorian home, I love the Tudor just as much! This home is exquisite!!
This is easily one of the most beautiful homes that I have ever seen. We need a revival in this country, a return to class.
The plaster work in the dining room is to die for.

Glorious. Amazed with all the humidity in Memphis, this house is in such great condition - especially those plaster ceilings!
Wow modern Tudor style ❤❤❤❤❤and beautiful Iranian carpet ,

Such a beauty! Love all the paint colors ❤
What a gorgeous home! I hope the new owner will treasure it and maintain it with care.
Thank God 🙏 no one painted that beautiful wood
What a charming home. I love English Tudor Revival architecture.

Love that wood and this beautiful home. Looks like no one lives there it’s so perfect lol. Thanks for the video. 😊
There is something uniquely quaint about Tudors...I have much appreciation - one of my favorites
Ignore me while I sit here salivating 😋😉 Thank you for sharing this beauty ❣
Wow! They did a good job of renovating that kitchen to fit in with that house!
A PRISTINE BEAUTY!
The family room with all the canned lights and speakers in the ceiling reminisces me of the 1970s

What a treat. What a gorgeous well maintained home with some brilliant modernization. So fun to see Memphis since I lived there for so long!
The kitchen, the trim work! Ugh, hurts it so beautiful!
IDK how many Xs I have watched this video, but I absolutely ❤ this home. It speaks to me! A lottery win for sure, but miracles happen!
Just wait until you see this weeks- I love it even more. Same period!

Close to the zoo. Midtown is really nice with a lot of the older large homes.i live in an older craftsman style here
Gorgeous home, huge home, I’ll bet it would cost a fortune to just maintain.
What a house!! Simply awesome!
Beautiful and so well cared for! I love it. Great tour.
Beautiful
This is a beautiful Tudor revival home. However, I think I prefer Pearl.
What a beauty 😍
This home is absolutely gorgeous! Craftsmanship is suburb. It is a dream of mine to own a home like this on a farm.
Absolutely incredible!!! ❤
This house is perfect 😍
WOW thank you for sharing this incredible home! What beautiful detailing.
The house is gorgeous. But that new addition throws off the symmetry of the front facade, especially with how the entry walkways and stairs line up.
It’s hard to explain, but that’s really more the side of the house. And it was beautiful in person.

You’d have to see it in person. That’s really kind of the side back. It’s not a problem in person.
Such a stunning home!
Whoa! So beautiful!
I love it!!!
OMG Lainey I wish I could afford this home it's perfect
Incredible😱
I loves loves this 🏠 house
Hey ho! I’ll comment. Pretty house. Huge!
Stunning ❤
That third floor is bigger than my entire house. NOT FAIR. And there’s a FOURTH floor??!? I’d die to see the blueprints of this joint.

Deffently don't see this kind of craftsmanship any more, which is so sad.
I don't think there is a single detail that I don't love.
I love this stunning house.... This house is my dream!!! Love from Pakistan ❤️ can u plz tell me location of this house?
Memphis, Tennessee
Beautiful,…".how much
We aren’t realtors as we say in the video. As we say in the video you’ll need to check the Zillow link in the description
it makes me angry when there is no price.
You had to click on the Zillow in the disription, it's 1.85
It makes me angry when people don’t listen to the narrator tell them clearly that the Zillow link is in the description.

Wow, what a stunning property.
So is the addition added on to the front of the house and is that weird bump out in front? 😕
It looks like it was at one time a garage that then was converted into living space.
The area used to be a garden/fountain but was changed to be more useable. In fact it evens out the house considering there IS a garage on the opposite side
