Hi Ashley. When we toured Graceland in late December, I noticed something I had never see before. On the door frame of the projector room downstairs is a door bell. I asked the worker there what is what for, and they mentioned that many of the staff had wondered the same thing. Any idea what that was for? Thanks!
WE MISS YOU ! Ashley, looking forward to seeing you do the magic that you bring to Elvis's history. Hopefully we'll able to get more of your content soon. Thanks again 👍👍
Dear Ashley , your video of the interior of Elvis Presley's home and photographs always gives me joy . From the Biggest Talent born in Tupelo to Memphis ! The thought of my Mother's 89th birthday today just one month after the Elvis ! When I go and visit my momma she always gets a portion of Elvis in TH-cam at her home because of me ! Thank you and I surely hope we shall continue !
Iv been to Graceland twice and im still learning of new things your videos are really good keep them coming there is so much to take in I would love to come to Memphis bet im in the uk still we have your videos
Love the different aspect views from the jungle room, and I never knew there were public bathrooms there, looks like I’ll have to go back and check everything out again! Thanks Ashley another great video 🥰
what a fascinating video and I can't imagine all the time and efforts you put into all this history of Graceland. I know it must be a true labor of love.
oh yes I can sure tell by all the work you have put into these. I have ended up watching all of your videos and just fascinated by the house. I always liked Mr. Presley and myself am a long time Judy Garland fan. She and Elvis met in Vegas and he told her "Madam you are the world's greatest entertainer", Jack Pear told the story on his TV special. as he was with Judy. I live in North Carolina and at some point would love to visit Graceland and after seeing you videos would have such a good background of it all.@@ashleysadventures
So there are two stairways leading up from the basement to the first floor ... Thank you for finally making me understand! (when my husband and me were there we only used the mirrored one). And thanks for everything else, Graceland and you always make me glued to the screen. Also loved to see the music room with all the curtains drawn back and the looks outside.
Aww thank you for that! So happy you enjoyed it and found it helpful Very likely you did use the green shag one! Tours go down the mirrored one then follow the path up the other one
@@ashleysadventures yes, we obviously took the wrong way up😁. No one cared. Also, we went through the mansion two times, and no one stopped us! That was in 2018
Great video, I can never get enough of Graceland, while it is not a big house by modern celeb standards, there is a lot more to when you take in the annex buildings that lead off the main house. I was always confused when touring the house, trying to figure out where I was when I went down to the basement versus where I was when I emerged. I really need to pull out my old photos from the early 2000s and analyse them, maybe I have a gem in there to share with you Ashley. You really do need to return and check out the barn someday, I am sure there are lots of hidden gems in there. When I took the VIP tour back in 2008 the bus drove you to the barn and back of the property but you could not enter it back then. Awesome video, thanks.
Terrific video! I absolutely love the details, and the different angles, and the inclusion of vintage photos is so very well done. I tried as hard as I could to absorb as much as I could when I visited but it's quite overwhelming. Your work really helps me relive the tour. Much gratitude.
More great detective work Ashley. Got to get back to see Graceland as you certainly opened my eyes.!! I was recently watching a " discovery video from the 90's that took you inside the hidden "archives" building, what a thrill that would be to go inside. As you have pointed out several times the carpet in various parts of graceland has changed, i wonder if they kept the original carpet? It is great to see various photographs that people have took over the years. Keep up the awesome work that you do. Looking forward to many more fun filled videos.
If Beloved Elvis came home, he wouldn't recognize the house he had bought for his beloved mother! he could say, "What did they do with my décor? Where am I """ apart from the walls nothing or almost nothing dates from the 70's / I went to Graceland several times (Memphis and elsewhere) and I could see all the change! it almost became Disneyworld; but $$$ are good for EPE and the Presley offspring ////// So when I go back there I will just go in the morning and evening to bring my admiration, love and respect to ELVIS to his grave ////// Ashley ,you are a great girl / TCB,TLC / ELVIS gift from God!
I think that his spirit still visits his graceland home along with Lisa Marie's spirit, and I think that he would recognize it because I think that it looked like that in the sixities!! 😊
I still want to visit in my lifetime from Scotland , but I really look forward to your vids Ashley, always see something new and always fascinating. Please keep them coming.
Oh my goodness Ashley, what a video! I loved seeing things up close and personal. Views that we see, but things we can't see right in plain sight, but not. Like the cute white cabinet in the music room, etc...How maze like the house really is, especially around the kitchen and Jungle Room. Love the view from the top of the Racquetball court too. It still blows me away that there are public restrooms' at Graceland. It's not like they let you know on the tour that they are available if one needs them. LOL I wish I had had the presence of mind t take "detailed" photo's at Graceland when I was there. I took photos, but just overview photos. Still I'm grateful to have them and love learning more about Graceland from you Ashley because you are the boom my friend! thanks for the attention to detail that you have. Makes the Elvis world so much more interesting and yummy to devour!
