V8 Turbo in the '98 correct? That's a good looking car. How did it run? Did you have any issues? I might try and find one of the v8 turbos!
@@TheSpeedTraveler ALL of a sudden I had several problems, car overheated & the port side head gasket started to leak(power loss), took it in to replace both. Then I had 2 strokes, shook me up, wife & I became very uncomfortable about driving it, sold it 2 days later(as is) for what I originally bought it for, to a guy who was willing to repair it!!!!!…..regretted it big time! …bought a Jag. XKR, 510hp. 3yrs. later. LOL! Yes V8, twin turbo, until I had overheat, it was beautiful……..should NEVER had sold it!

I owned 3 lotus a few years back, I’m in the US (California) and they are amazing, I will eventually get me another one but not the new lotus ( I wouldn’t buy and lotus with a Toyota motor) good video 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

A great car. I have an 87 and love it. Had a 77 S1 but it burned up. The Europa was great to, had 3 of them. If you get the chance drive a Europa it is even more responsive than the Esprit.

Great car, I have a1983 Turbo esprit in Calypso red and magnolia hide interior, love this car , the way it drives and the smiles it puts on people's faces when you drive it. Will never sell.
Agree Clive - these are amazing cars. This one WAS sold sadly, a bi-product of Covid business turn down. But we have a silver one still in the collection. Thanks for commenting.

Love these, little known fact, Colin built luxury yachts as well JCL Marine, great looking boats Marauder, Mamba etc . Company failed because they tried the same resin injection on the boats as the cars but didn't work on boat hulls!

Great cars, wish I could find them in the US at all, let alone for a good price. Is it still possible to get a good example for around 30k?
We have owned two of them recently. I would say $30K is very accurate. They aren't easy to find but there is one on EBay right now but it has a lot of miles. Good luck in the search.

True but they are now starting to go up in value - finally!
These are so undervalued, not that I want them to be as much as a house but I think people undervalue louts as a brand. Why get a 308 when you can get this instead for 1/2 the price or less.
