@TheSpeedTraveler Only 2 original Aston Martin DB5's were used in the " Goldfinger" movie 1964 and one of them in " Thunderball " 1965 (plus 2 more DB5's for publicity only, never used in any James Bond movies) Thereafter 1990's Aston Martin's DB5's used in James Bond movies were mostly former privately owned Aston Martin DB5's built in the 1960s with no gadgets , 800 were built any one of those 800 DB5's sold to the General Public were used in 1990's Bond movies, including later on " Casino Royale " Daniel Craig, with the exception of the last Bond with Craig, those Aston Martin DB5's were all replicas

@TheSpeedTraveler There are 800 Aston Martin DB5's, with the exception of 4 Aston DB5's made for the original Bond movie cars and promotion in the 1960s, one regrettably was stolen or destroyed. The only way to verify if any other privately owned Astons appeared in later Bond movies is to check the vehicle chassis number, all later Astons including standing cameo appearances are accompanied by a " Plaque Certificate " Signed and endorsed by Aston Martin Heritage Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire England. Therefore, the car door or bonnet would have to be open on display at the museum or car show, so that the public can see the " Plaque " inside the car. The Plaque is attached to the engine and also attached to the inside door foot entrance, stating what movie this Aston Martin appeared in.

I own a 1978 Corvette all Black Corvette with all 25 year markings and trim . I have a 350 Turocharged , Harmonic Balanced, Steel crank, Forged Piston Blueprinted engine. I bought it in 1984 and now have 54K miles. Over the years of driving down to the cape I had many occasions of 5. 0 Litre Mustangs pulling along side to challenge the Car. Never Lost!!! Ate them up !!! waking it up Next month for another year of cruising!!! A car made to polish and DRIVE!!

Hi Dick! Thanks for the comment! Yes - we bought the car from EVS in Wisconsin... I don't know who owned it but if you do - please let us know! It only has 5500 miles on it so someone clearly babied the car. Thx

@TheSpeedTraveler I don't know who EVS got the car from. When I said Ernie Jr. I was referring to the E in EVS. But now that I think of it I think the dealers name was Eric. His Dad, the original "EVS" was Ernie. My Dad bought a 78 Corvette pace car from the dealer in Campbellsport, WI when I was 17 and took it to Florida. He sold it with probably less than 50 miles on it. I wish I could find that car.....

Hey Chimi - depends on the mileage - most of these are low miles because people bought them and put them in garages. I would say for the automatic version $20K to $40K - probably an additional $5K for the manual version as there weren't many built.

It really was a lot of fun!
