Yep, Jakarta does win about how modern and clean the city is, but Jakarta is actually vast, which is in this video only the jakarta's downtown (m.h thamrin/soedirman/menteng/kemayoran/etc) doesn't include the "old city" area of West Jakarta which is rich in historic buildings and East Jakarta which still has many slums.
Same occurs with Delhi but in opposite sense as most of Delhi's skyscrapers are located in Gurgaon and noida districts which haven't been covered.
Delhi is so vast , you will find every style of living even Billionaires alley or sum major slums.
These cities are absolutely overwhelming.

New Delhi is really culturally rich city with so many historical buildings and architecture with very beautiful scenery on it, while Jakarta is a modern, clean, neat, and well organized city with a lot of skyscrapers, glassy buildings with giant led screen on it. Really love both cities 🇮🇩❤🇮🇳

Reading the comments here praising Jakarta reminds me of my experience. In around 2014, I guided foreign dignitaries from Myanmar to tour around Jakarta. One of them, a lady, was crying so hard and I sat besides her trying to hear the reason why.
She told me that she often visited Indonesia with her father before in Soekarno era. Afterwards, she spent time fighting and just now have the time to visit Jakarta again and she was shocked to see how different it becomes. She told me that Myanmar is so beautiful back then, even more so than Indonesia. But now Jakarta has developed into such an amazing city while Myanmar is in a state of chaos. So seeing how Jakarta has evolved, she cried and pray for her country to be able to stop the chaos and develop into a better nation. I was touched.
As a Batavian (native ethnicity of Jakarta), though I love living here, I never considered Jakarta as a beautiful city. But that experience changed me and I grew to love my city more, even with all of its problems.
