Tasteful. So many instrumentalists and singers overplay and bastardize the melody of the National Anthem. Jerry is on point here, and awesome as always.
Only one person could do that as a statement and story with honest, original sincerity without staying confined to the commonly used format. That person is Jimi Hendrix. All others are contrived.
All the music and artist that came from Seattle during the late 80s early 90s remain my favorite go to music. Loved seeing Jerry Cantrell playing the anthem this past weekend.

Jerry Cantrell is such a talented singer, songwriter and musician, he has stood the test of time throughout all the trials and tribulations in his life, things could have gone much differently for him but he persevered and is a music icon in my opinion 🎙️🎸🩶

I think Jerry Cantrell is one of the best guitarists of my generation. Even though I never got the opportunity to see AIC in concert when Layne Staley was alive, I still admire the music they made now and when I was a teenager in the early 1990's.
Best of luck to Leonard Williams from a Giants fan by the way...he's a real difference maker, and a real quality character dude. Good move for Seahawks, and really a necessary maneuver by thr Giants.
