Same here, I miss that game, also had such a unique car customization system, not sure why other games don't do the spray can approach to car liveries.
letterly every reviewer says something about destruction derby.. the problem might be that you only check out 1 video

@@bloodmoney7968 It depends. Renting isn't always an option for people, so they depend on a review for insight. But please tell me, what else should a person do in that instance?

Personally i use review to see how the game consist of, not for the vote that is subjective.
What a person should do? I don't know but i never buy a game at launch if i'm not 100% sure that i'll like it (and even then sometimes i'm disappointed)
So i think a person should chose the games taking in consideration his tastes and not others' (this review has a note of subjectivity that in my opinion alters it and renders it more of an opinion that a proper review)
That's just my opinion though
I think the comment means it's nice when a great game is justly received as such, including via reviews etc.

Just bought eve of destruction a couple months ago to hold me over until Wreckfest. Such an amazing & fun game, especially considering when it came out.
Eve of Destruction was one of most funniest games for me ever.

@@bimmer8602 Unfortunately publisher Empire Interactive held the rights to the Flatout name, not Bugbear. Empire Interactive went belly up in 2009, now BAD publisher Strategy First holds the rights to the Flatout name :(

Had this game on PC do a while, hope you console owners enjoy it. T-boning another car at high speed and seeing them tumble and break apart is one of the most satisfying experiences I had in a racing game.
I got it when it was still next car game. I love it. Its genuinely hard to go ish a race at times but thats half the fun.

A friend of mine just told me about this game, checked the ps store and hot excited that the game's literally launching tomorrow, further excited when the studio developing this game also worked on flatout 1 and 2(something like that). I'm definitely getting this game. Also Kevin, check out the new GRID racing game that's launching in 2 months. I used to love playing that game on last gen, and got amped it's coming out on current gen!

Wreckfest is the kind of game where you don't want to be in 1st place all the time, because all the fun happens further back in the lower positions. Depending on what type of race you're playing.

There is a Destruction Derby 2 mod for Wreckfest on Steam Workshop, it adds DD2 cars, and all tracks, it's amazing

Got this on sale on Steam this weekend, it's a hoot. Definitely requires driving skill but also luck is involved, and being able to have different quick set ups for the same vehicle would have been nice.

I like this reviewer. And in my opinion every game starts at a ten until you play it not the other way around, when you find something wrong then you take off points but most reviewers need to find enjoyment out of the game before adding from 0.

I've been playing the PC version of this game for a few years, and it is truly addictive. Multiplayer is amazing - the amount of times I've found myself laughing hysterically as some huge pile up inevitably unfolds. In an era where more racing games are about realism and simulation and less about pick up 'n play fun, it's a real breath of fresh air.
I've been playing this game on pc for some months now, and I can tell you : this is the racing game you are looking for, everything is fun and well-rounded, even the single player, and the multiplayer is probably one of the best ever. Just buy it, it's really the best.
Yeah go try it now and tell me the game its thecsame. The mp now is a complete mess . The newest update is crap

This game is amazing especially now after all the dlc and updates they’ve released. There’s extreme damage mode now and a whole pile of new vehicles and some crazy tracks. My favorite driving game ever and totally underrated

Glad to hear Test Drive EOD get a shout out here. That game is most definitely criminally underrated and deserves a remaster (or better yet, a sequel). Anyone who hasn't played it but loves vehicular destruction I definitely recommend it!

Terrible game, would not recommend it. It's tedious, a lot of repitition, and almost no destruction derby but a lot of races that are really boring. The rubberbanding of the AI is also horrendous, one of the worst I've encountered ever.

I love it when this guy reviews driving games. He’s got a lot of passion for the genre and you can tell he’s not going through the motions like the rest of them.
As someone who bought Wreckfest in early access (PC) some time ago and still loves it - I CANT WAIT to drive the camper van. For the record, the Online has way more mileage in it than the single player game, provided you have a thick skin. There are some excellent drivers and some ubersalt wreckers in the online. It requires a whole new level of skill and focus than the AI.
I can't wait for this and grid!
No co op split screen option is a deal breaker for me.
