Well the world was supposed to come to end this week and didn't. So figured we do a gm and see if it would push it over the edge. Thanks for comment and support
This oughta be good. Interesting watching you diagnose things, I think I picked up a few things from this video (I'm sure I'll forget about them before I ever need them) Also, not a fan of a Ford engine in a GM. I like it to poke at the GM guys but that's about it.
Love it thanks brother glad you watched. I love the ford in gm. They been putting gm motors in our stuff long enough bout time we did it back. About the 4x4 would love to eventually do one also. Thanks for comment and support
You won't get a ground until the injectors pulse. It's best to check them with a noid light so you don't damage the driver inside the ECM. More than likely it's just stuck injectors from sitting. Sometimes you can tap on the side of TB while injectors are pulsing and it will free them up.
I needs a fuel pump The things u called flaps inside the throttle body only move when you step on the gas pedal It needs a certain fuel psi for the injectors to work There Is constant positive going to the injectors the ground comes when the engine is spinning if you put your test light on the ground side of the injector harness and spin the distributor like you were you would see the light flash really fast
This is great thanks for the detailed reply. Greatly appreciated. Yeah I did that as well I just didnt include the video cause it just seemed like it was elongating the video. The pump I installed had sufficient pressure to cause the injectors to pulse and simply didnt. Definitely appreciate the feedback.
^^^ this...I assume there is a computer on this truck?? if it's like most EFI systems of that day, the computer is going to ground the injector(s) which sends the fuel...more than likely the injectors are stuck from being gummed up with fuel, you might just need to disassemble them and clean them out and try again...or just yank that turd and go full send on the coyote
@marks93cobra thanks for the comment and the great feedback. Yeah the owner says they rebuilt them when he started having issues. So yeah the plan is to go full send coyote
Well, technically, it has had both. Started life off as a 350 and that blew up and the original owner had a 305 put in it. Now we are gonna put a 2020.gen 3 mustang motor in it
@@JMRRebuilders Ok cool Thank you for Answering. I wish you the Best of Luck Putting that Coyote Motor into that Truck it's going to be interesting for Sure
It’s either a 305 (5.0) or a 350 (5.7) Both came in that vehicle That is a different way to supply fuel 👊🏼 Stupid liberal fuel nozzles not enough fuel pressure to run the throttle body
So interestingly, originally, it had a 350, and that blew up so the original owner put a 305 in it. So it is a 305. The issue is deeper than rhe pressure I believe computer isn't sending signal to the tb
Yeah that is Def a possibility. She had a 350 from factory and that blew now the 305 ain't running so about time to put in a good motor. Thanks for comment and support

The fuel pump is out
Once you put a fuel pump in it and then it'll work
@@lancehigdon8683 yeah your problem not wrong.
@lancehigdon8683 we intend on doing a second video on this one soon. Thanks for comment and support.
Is a 350
nice little truck for me
Completely agree. Check out our video where we got to drive it and do a burnout. Thanks for comment and support

Check 8th VIN character. If H=305 stock; if K=350 stock. Or look at emissions label. Top left corner if 5.0=305, 5.7=350
Well originally it was a 350 from factory. However at some point that was removed and replaced with a 305. Thanks for comment and support
Boy ... grow you some thumbs. Been in there for loose tilt screws and then form message stuff
Ducking autocorrect smh
Thanks brother not exactly sure what your attempting to say. Thanks for comment and support.
It’s a fuel injection and that pump is not enough fuel pressure!!!!
You are correct it is a fuel injection system. Thanks for comment and support.

Yes sir. Can’t wait to see that Coyote video.

Good thing is the steering wheel not flopping around lol
Yeah I may have broken the bearing inside there also. Gonna sort that out when we rip it apart

89 GMC truck is pretty much
Pretty much?
Most people don't normally put a Ford engine in a Chevy, lol
Most would say, that's a downgrade.
Yeah that is Def a possibility. She had a 350 from factory and that blew now the 305 ain't running so about time to put in a good motor. Thanks for comment and support
Been lot easier if you hadn’t lost key
Dang straight. Guess we ended up at the same place though.
Why did you leave nut at home
I toom it off put it in my socket box and used that box at home, and forgot the box at home that day.
I’m gonna cheat a little - it’s a 305.
Yes it is. Do you know what it was before the 305 got put in?
@@JMRRebuilders yes. That 305 is original.
The story I was told is that it had a 350 stock and that blew so it got the 305.
@@JMRRebuilders interesting. I never knew that. I always thought it was a 305 from the factory. I must have missed that family meeting. Lol
Bueno this
3o5
That is it for sure. Interestingly it had a 350 that blew and orignal owner swapped it for the 305. We will be swapping that 305 fora 302 soon
Where's your partner when you need him
Thanks for comment and support. Unfortunately moving forward it will just be me.
305 was a pitiful low power poor gas mileage engine
Yeah they were not that impressive thanks for comment and support
They weren't meantfor drag racing but they did what they were intended to do
