    Great video. I like how Rex gently massaged the transmission tunnel so the engine would fit. 🔨🔨🔨😌

    All the hassles that come along with conversions Max. The transfer cases are easy to lock it up. Always awesome content 👍💯☺️😂

    We left out the same heatshield, broke the same temp adapter and brought the tailshaft spacer from superior

    Hey man you said that the front shaft doesnt spin with the part time kit, are you sure? I thought it was a spool that locks it to always spin like having the Centre Diff Lock on all the time and the lockable front hubs is what disengages the drive

    • @BoostGumps

      Hey Man, my understanding is that the spool is for 100% drive to the rear shaft, eliminating the centre differential from the equation. But to engage 4wd you need to engage the centre diff lock button which still locks it into 4wd. If you do this part time conversion without a centre diff lock setup you will lose 4wd all together. The free-wheeling hubs is to stop the potential of the transfer binding

      @@BoostGumps ah yep i just looked in to it properly and youre right. My understanding was that it locked the centre diff permanently but its just the rear side gear. Cheers mate

    why did you change the location of the alt and the ac? any reason?

    • @BoostGumps
      @BoostGumps  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They dont both fit in the std location due to chassis rail and steering box

    I want to build a turbo 1fz, with coil on plug, Etc. How can I get in touch with you? I live abroad, so it’s just parts and consulting

      Different strokes for different folks. Have done both multiple times. Usually equates to about the same cost for the same power/torque results. LS's always get better economy once done though.

      @BoostGumps which is strange considering the twin cam 4 valve vs push rod 2 valve... Is it just the increased displacement of the LS working less to move the 3T Cruiser?

      @@johnlucas9464 yeh Ive always been honest on knowing so. But unfortunately with no one here to film for me, and the fact thats its very time consuming and difficult to try and film myself as I work, particularly with how busy we are, unfortunately all I can really do is talk through it and explain what’s happening.
      Until we have more people here helping out it’s just how it is unfortunately,
