Great series. Id love to do this to my land rover disco 3 but doubt they make an adaptor kit. There are also heaps of complex electronics which i doubt will be easy to bypass without throwing error codes.
You may not need the input shaft extension with that clutch and flywheel. Depending on what you ordered they may have allowed for the conversion or you might need a different length shaft. Warning Don't put the clutch together the wrong way! those plates and disks are directional and there is a top and bottom plate. Diesel is always better unless it's one of the crappy ones or it's blown and you don't want to fork over the dough to rebuild it.
Man, nice goodies! Have you ever driven a ceramic clutch before though? The more heat you put into it the more it becomes like an on/off switch... Unless they've got some new special friction material now
@@jasonswift7098 Okay pal, you stick to the gutless diesels that cost a small fortune just to do a set of injectors on. People like you are keeping the cost of buying petrol 4by's that bit cheaper but people have caught on to the y62 unfortunately.
diesel all the way mainly because its available anywhere in Australia an if all else fails you can buy diesel from a farmer when in the middle of no-where
These days if you've got a long range tank there's no issue. Only problem you could have would be if you need to bring a bottle of octane booster along.
read my comments,i dont pull punches.hese a dick.young dick.he hasnt got a computor to look up ytube or google or wiki,if he did,he wouldnt be doing this.
For a $200 part it’s much much easier to buy the mounts than the whole process of fabricating them. I would have done the same. (I fabricated my mounts on my ls1 80 series)
I put a V6 chev into a 84 Hilux 19 years ago. Marks 4x4 adapters maid it easy. 😁👍

So what was the cost all up clutch $3500 adapter kit $3000?
We need more of your mate’s 105
What was your all up cost mate gonna do to mine
What was the cost of all those goodies
looks great Sam, getting there with the Patrol

How come you got rid of your other patrol?
Can u get this stuff so I can do a bara swap
I have a V8 and would never go back to a diesel clunker. Water crossings may give diesels an edge but WA doesn't have many of them to worry about.
You have no clue.
Boo Hoo :(
@@jasonswift7098 You have no clue pal.
@@AP-ow5vu stfu you have no knowledge or experience.

Love your channel mate. Thanks for sharing with us :)
Cheers for the videos mate 👍🏼
what engine are you using? did your old patrol with a ls1 have enough toque compared to a diesel?

Rhode Micproplus mate, turns on with the camera, your a classic mate. go blow up them diffs haha
but then if your using a lapel mic ... dont know ;-|
“It’s a shame the clutch is hidden in the transfer case”.... That would be the bell housing the clutch is hidden in.

McKay automotive or something? Fully Oz owned rubber manufacturer since early 1900s, hardly an ebay job
1762nm, youll be melting tires and diffs, with that much torque
and blowing gearboxes :)
U should put truck style exhaust in patrol ute it would be mad

I dont Think nissan Made an auto ute patrol

i did see one on 4wd action but i think it was custom

You've got little idea! You should change ya shirt
Nice video and thank you for this video
Do you know if Marks adaptors do Ford adaptors I don't like Holden 😂😂
I just mean every man in their dog does an LS conversion
@@davidchilds6505 Don't like Holden either but an LS engine is about the only good thing they do 😅
Biggest mistake ever! should have gone with the duramax 6.6 and the alison 6 speed auto.
i was thinking of cummins 6bt hahaha
That is even worse the engine weighs 499kg
Not everyone has a spare $20.000 for a clunker diesel, that you can not do any modification too. Trev.
Bought, Not built. Seems Legit.
DoriTime I’d like to see you build your own clutch...
DoriTime and make ur own bellhousing adapter in ur backyard
So your saying that he also can't make a engine mount bracket ? Or a alternator bracket ?
is it really something you want to have in your own hands? Get a alternator bracket a couple mm out and you'll fuck belts for life.
