So, it turns out I was stupid with the last upload I had of this, and I didn't correctly edit in the cutscene lol. Obviously these aren't done on first attempt for no damage (nobody does every boss first try for no damage with zero experience), so I have to record the cutscene from the first time around, and add them in after. But I messed up and left the wrong footage in, so I'm reposting it now. Despite the editing in of the cutscenes, clearly these fights are all done on the same attempt without any editing for the gameplay itself (you can tell by ergo, weapon ability charges, legion charge, fable art charge and all that). I just want to have the cutscenes in for these fights, and to do so and save time, it's easier to just add those cutscenes in after.
Other than me being stupid, this is much easier than the previous fight, as most of the attacks are quite slow and easy to dodge. Got a bit lucky during the second phase with being just barely out of range of the combo attack, but as soon as you see him stand up and slow walk, you can just move back and out range it normally.

About Lies of P:
Lie or Die... Inspired by the familiar story of Pinocchio, Lies of P is an action Souls-like game set in the dark, Belle Époque-inspired city of Krat. Once a beautiful city, Krat has become a living nightmare as deadly puppets run amok and a plague sweeps the land. Play as P, a puppet who must fight his way through the city on his unrelenting journey to find Geppetto and finally become human. Lies of P presents an elegant world filled with tension, deep combat and character customization systems, and a gripping story with interesting narrative choices where the more lies told, the more human P becomes. Just remember: in a world filled with lies, no one can be trusted.

how hard would you say it is to parry Dr.mundo here on a scale of 1-10? and btw your time stamp shows ''Phase1'' twice instead of phase 2.
The fact that he can damage you with his fist while kneeling for the fatal attack on second phase was a really cool addition, totally got me by surprise since I tend to panic towards the fatal position
I was about to first try him with 1hp remaining and he hit me with that and killed me, annoying but its a cool mechanic
Im so thankful that the first shadow boss fight in dmc1 prepared me for shit like this lol
"You're so weak! So unfit!"
"And you're talking some mad shit for someone down to 20% health."
"It's not over yet, I am the chosen one!"
"And you have less than 5% health, so it's just about over, champ"
Having to fight the Puppet King before this one is great because after Romeo you know that dodging is vastly superior to parrying. Victor was a nice change of pace.
Finally someone who doesn't seem to be playing a totally different game. I was parrying and died, like, 15 times to Victor doing less than 10% of his health. I couldn't last 10 seconds. Then I switched to dodge and it was so much better. Still took me some time, but it was reasonable, became fair and enjoyable. I'm sure this boss would take at least 5 hours with parry. I wish I had tried that against Romeo too, I feel so stupid now.
I parried Romeo didn’t dodge anything, viktor I parried nothing so you can do whatever you want really
It's almost as if some bosses require different strategies in order to fight them effectively.....
@@dannyboi5887 Not when it comes to dodge vs parry. Parry in Lies of P is too precise and rarely worth it, it's better to dodge everything and only parry fury attacks (I'd even equip the amulet that unlocks fury attack dodge, but it's way too heavy). Unless if you have good damage mitigation when you block. I guess this depends on the weapon, but mine couldn't block sh1t.
@@MatNaitorarely worth, lol, I'm using parry 90% of the times and I can stagger enemies quite a lot , especially if I parry+heavy attack them.
I'll agree that some enemies are easier to dodge and parryig is more penalized( like the door guardian, partying him was a nightmare, but dodging was easy as hell) but parrying feels so good, especially against Victor, and the timing isn't even that "horribly" short.
And about damage mitigation, even if you're using a stick, after you block an attack, you can recover a lot of hp if you quickly attack the enemy or manage to perform some perfect parry/s
>no damage
>doesn’t deflect a single attach
This is the most based boss fight guide I’ve ever seen
champion victor is literally the perfect boss for modders to turn him into hulk
I love how this boss fight sets up for Simon Manus and Laxasia.
Victor and all the enhanced humans in the exhibition represent a symptom of Simon’s work, revealing the possibilities of ergo infusion. This is best examples when Simon asks the question “What do you think we are doing here.” It leaves it up to the player to decide what is right or wrong about Simon’s work. Having already witnessed the chaos that can come of it through Victor but knowing the potential of the ergo this question becomes a lot more engaging, leading you think more about the story of the game without plastering the lore in your face. Environmental storytelling at its finest.
This scene also displays Laxasia’s power, killing Victor with a single spear throw to the heart from across the arena. Witnessing this the player could be excited or a little intimidated by their eventual confrontation at the tower which does well to show her character and purpose in the story.
Unfortunately this scene does nothing to get us excited for Simon’s fight but regardless it does well to push the story forward and show us that there are bigger threats then the puppet frenzy. Such a perfect tone shift from the devs.
He’s like Bane mixed with Frankenstein. Which is so cool
"its not over yet,i am the chosen one!!" a mix of Frankenstein, Bane and Anakin Skywalker LOL
4:49 Whoever that voice actor was, he delivered the hardest line in the game.
I appreciate that this is a showcase that actually helps as opposed to cheese tactics or perfect guards 76 times which is not realistic for 95% of us.
I’ll keep this in mind. Guide vs skill showcases.
Great job on doing not only no damage, but also a perfect synh with boss theme and battle!
Mad-Man And Champion Victor 💪👑🖤💜💗🈳️🟣♀️👹😈🇺🇲🇯🇵
I was trying to parry this guy and came here after a couple weeks not playing, watched your strat of dodging and beat him for the first time after a bit of not playing. Thanks Eso, cool vids btw
The moment i entered this boss fight, i told myself i can't out brute force this thing.
So I just do what all the movies i saw taught me to do, if they are very big, you go small and shank it with a fire dagger 😂
This was the most fun fight in the game for me so far (just beat him earlier today).
And you know why? Because it's (until now for me) the only boss who don't delay attack too much.
You can't design a game about parry and make the attacks of the enemy so unpredictable and delayed, it's force player to repeate and memorize, and it's boring.
King of puppets is still my favorite boss in the game. And Fuoco is still my most hated.
I liked a lot the Black Rabbit Brotherhood, it's interesting the need to change tactics each time a different brother enters the arena
@@gamemaster1608i havent yet reached the second brotherhood boss. But the first one was kinda fun as a bad player. I just broje the big bros weapon and then kinda cheesed all the other brouskis with just running around and hitting them once.
@@Kaleb._ I just defeated Victor and I don't think I have a most hated boss yet, ok maybe the fucking Mad Clown Puppet that was crazy I just cheesed it with throwables, I wasn't satisfied when I beat him, I just was upset and annoyed, that clown
Great job! What weapon is that? Guess I made it harder on myself trying to parry everything, haha. Didn't know you could outmaneuver him so easily.
He is using the corrosive spear
Dodging it's actually really good against big bosses
Wait. Telling Simon you see a hope for a cure was THE LIE instead of monster being the lie???
Obviously. I don't even know what led a lot of these dystopian villains to believe that evolution should include becoming grotesque, ugly, murderous creatures.
I don't see how it can be a lie when they're growing third arms and turning into resident evil enemies
Yes. Do you really think turning into a hideous abomination is somehow a good cure to a disease? The only experiment of Manus' shenanigans that could be considered actually perfect was Laxasia, and even she wasn't mentally all there. If a cure to a horribly debilitating disease requires you to lose your humanity and become some sort of monster, it's not a cure.
So is Victor the Champion this world’s Frankenstein? Because I can see some similarities and it would be pretty cool.
Yeah, he's pretty much what you get when you cross Frankenstein with Bane from Batman.
Muchas gracias, ver tu vídeo me ayudó mucho, sólo hay que mantenerse en su lado derecho
Good video!
I've only seen a small handful of Souls players that can actually play this game with no dmg and use the parry in this game right. Esoterickk and ONGBAL to name the very few... XD
There is a channel on TH-cam: HaRD Game
So, he Walkthroug No Damage 100% the entire game.
The entire game, and not just the bosses individually, this is what I understand as hardcore.
...
HaRD Game channel which has 16.6 thousand subscriptions (this is to find the right channel, since there are similar channel names)
What's up with the health bar?
This was probably the only boss I used dodging on lol, but despite that he was probably the most fun I've had with a boss ever
@@user-vn5kf2gd6o I actually managed to guard against him only somehow
This was a really fun boss fight, one of the best in the game.
Agreed!
It was my favorite honestly. I found it hard, but the most fun.
Which weapon are you using?
Someone else in the comments said he was using the "corrosive spear". Hope that helps
Narratively, it makes no sense that Decay affects him at all, especially to the tune of DPS it’s doing against someone who injected copious amounts into his body 😅😅😅
Where is the dog after this fight?
In the next area, you'll run into after the first short cut is opened up in Barren Swamp
Is that Bane?
His second phase reminds me of grundy in arkham city
I prefer parrying him but i love your souls approach. AFter all u've receive no damage.
Bane at home.
Quick, someone replace all his lines with Recoome's dialogue from DBZA
I really want this guy to say "Silly P, the only thing Victor sells is merchandise"
So you’re insane at every game you play? Gotcha
Hora loux vs victor for the championship
The boss already use petrification and you try to fight him with acid? Are you trying to put him in an overdose state? Haha
Well it seemed to work. lmao
Hoarah Loux plagiarism
This studio can't make even a single boss without copy pasting god software man
I think he's more heavily inspired from Bane from the Batman Arkham series. And his is the only design that actually felt a bit too derivative for me, but it's pretty good nonetheless
Are big roided out angry guys like Bane and the Hulk smashing shit fromsoft plagarisms now? Fucking lmao
Dude what is your problem?
From didnt create the archetype of big guys using fists. Like the other guy said its more bane than horah.
And just to remind you by your logic from has plagarized everything (berserk cough cough). Which is a shitty retarded mindset only a cunt like you can have
I didn't know Fromsoft invented the concept of big men fighting bare-handed. Besides, his style and personality are completely different to Godfrey/Hoarah Loux.
