[Marriott Bonvoy] Le Meridien Bangkok Hotel is ready for visitors! ル・メルディアンバンコクホテルはおすすめ！

Hey everyone, this is another video that I took in December; so sorry for the delay! I stayed at this hotel when it was an ASQ hotel, in December of 2020
Since then, the hotel has renovated and opened it's doors to all guests, and I had to come back to check it all out!
This is a fashionable, fun, but yet elegant hotel that I think guests of all ages will like and appreciate!

去年の12月に泊まったこのホテルは、実は一年前にバンコクに着いた際、隔離生活で過ごした過ごしたル.メルディアン。
あれからやっと普通のホテルに戻り、リニューアルもされ、新しいレストランも開業。
ちょっとファンキーな雰囲気だけど高級感もたっぷりで、若いお客から歳上の方までエンジョイできるホテルだと思います！

Rewatching, still dont like the design/color scheme of this hotel but gonna reserve a night or two this easter so i can spend at least one eve/night in Patpong district. Then move over to JW Marriott Sukhumvit. Thanks Andy

I think the decor is unique and probably not for everyone, but I can say that the service is fantastic.

@@TravelCoffeeAndy Ended up booking 3 nights in corner suite with club access, it was only THB 2400, or 800 per night, more than an executive club room. My decision was as mentioned based on the hotels proximity to Patpong district, and also that its not too far from Chinatown.

@@TravelCoffeeAndy Can definitely say this is a 5 star hotel only in the service. Really great staff, friendly too but the rest isnt close.

The Le Meridien brand isn’t exactly up to the likes of a Mandarin Oriental or a Capella, but for the price, I’m happy with the level of this hotel. 😊

How's the gym or fitness area? I didn't see that part in the video. I am going to be staying here next month. One of the few Bonvoy properties I haven't tried yet.

Hey, thanks for the comment! Yes, my apologies for not including it in there. The fitness area is good enough for people like me, who enjoy a bit of weights, and basic equipment.
They had dumbbell sets, bikes, treadmills, and various machines, as well as a bench press machine. Unless you are a fitness guru, I’d say their equipment is sufficient.

Haha I’ve been in many rooms without a tub, and I’m ok with that also. 😝

​@@craigallan7745 The secret to the tub is to not use it yourself. I got 2 videos of pretty girls using my tub in the suite in this hotel. When we have old guy preferences we dont need to mention them, thats how i too is getting older but my dates are not. We simply do not talk about getting old, and especially we dont talk about any "Charlie teenagers". I have teen kids too but i never mention them in certain contexts, though my 3 year old kid is ok to mention because that only proves im still very capable. Soaking away aches, not that capable, do yourself a favor and don't mention it again. Hey i dont know you so its only a general friendly advice, we dont talk about old man things when we get old, ever.
