Nothing wrong with a 4 minute jam session with Tomo-zo wailing away. She is underrated as a guitarist. She can play any style from punk to funk to jazz to rock to shred metal. She's extremely versatile.
Love these ladies, so talented and so colorful! Love that they dress up in bright costumes, do things like wear keyboards on their backs for Oreo to play and other such stage antics! Fun show to watch and listen to. Thank you for reacting to this video.
I'm somewhere in the audience for this video! It was such an amazing show to see live. Gacharic Spin have been my favourite band for a long time but I think the reason they get overlooked sometimes is their genre leaping and zany style (both of which I love but I understand it's not necessarily for everyone). That's more for overseas audiences though, they are as popular, if not more so, in Japan as bands like Band Maid/Lovebites. That said having heard a few new tracks off their new album I think they might have managed to hit the perfect blend of genre-mixing, complexity, and accessibility that could really help a lot more people from overseas sit up and start to pay serious attention to them. I hope so, they deserve it!
One of the biggest reasons for them not getting noticed outside of japan was the record label JVC victor that were strict in allowing material out on the web (YT), a few years ago you would probably have been blocked for this . They now seem much more relaxed and the band are taking control more of what they are doing to the extent of producing there new album themselves. And yes there top notch musician's Tomo-zo pretty much soloes the entire song and Hana is working hard on the kit koga driving it and Orio on the moog adding her part brilliantly .

When Tomo-Zo is let off her leash she definitely proves she is one of the best in Japan. They are definitely popular in Japan as can be seen in this video. They play the larger mid sized venues it's just that they are pretty much unknown in the rest of the world.
Nobody mentions that one of her pigtails is a Ketchup bottle. Oreo had worn that costume for almost 1 year nonstop at the time of this live show without having a spare. It almost fell apart at this stage LOL There are some photos of her going to McD eating a Hamburger. That's some cannibalism for you hahaha

Hana is just to creative to gather a large following…band maid stays in there lane.. they are group of hot girls playing serious metal very well. I can appreciate that but it also bores me. The only song of theirs I will actively seek out is the 5/1 band maiko song and even then I only do that once in a while. Likewise the only light bringer I listened to every so often was ‘Just kidding’. GS is to hard for the poppy types and to mellow for the metal heads. My opinion has always been that if everyone likes you then your playing to the lowest common denominator. This is why I love it when some of the really knowledgeable musicians do a reaction, chase comes to mind. They will pull out some weird bit that Hana is doing on the the drum to reinforce tomo’s guitar solo. I always new I liked that riff but never new why and with Hana creating most of the music those bits a are scattered throughout the song. Likewise both tomo and Oreo tend to be a bit jazzy oriented which many reactors will describe as to technical. Likewise the serious metal types will not be able to wrap their head around the fact that tomo’s guitar is not pushed to the front of the mix and with both koga and Oreo going nuts it feels like she’s barely there On occasion.
