  • Today we continue traveling in South America, specifically Brazil. We leave Salvador Bahia to find a remote island in Brazil that not many tourists go to. We take two boat rides, two taxis, and one bus trip in order to finally find this small slice of paradise in Brazil. The name of this special island getaway is Boipeba. On this Boipeba island exists some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. No cars drive on this island Boipeba which makes it even more unique. Boipeba is a hidden gem of Brazil that is lesser-known to tourists. This is a great alternative to the touristy Morro de Sao Paulo. This is most commonly accessed through the city of Salvador, Bahia Brazil.

Hello darlings. Thanks for the videos and for giving our beloved country a chance ... So many foreigners and even Brazilians get to know a little more about what Brazil is ...
I ask that you do not let yourselves be bored with the country because of the profiteers or bums that unfortunately exist and that they may cross your path on this trip through Brazil ...
I hope it doesn't ruin your experience, and enjoy ...
Good stay, happy holidays, and come back whenever you want ...

There are faster ways to get to Boipeba. First you need to go to Morro de São Paulo and then take a small boat to get to Boipeba, which is pretty close to Morro de São Paulo. I think it would be faster and cheaper, That's what most people do I think.

Belo exemplo.

Guys, in beach towns you gotta order fish - always - it´s usually fresh fish, they fish in the morning to serve for lunch and dinner to the guests. Red meat is not a good idea in these towns due to refrigeration. Fish is usually phenomenal, as the taste of fresh fish right out of the water has nothing to do with fish we buy at the grocery stores - it´s amazing... Never heard of this place, but looks promising... enjoy!

hey guys, here are some places you should definitely look up beyond the amazon, wich ur already going:
São Luis - Maranhão (the Lençóis Maranhenses are natural pools in the middle of white sand dunes)
Bonito - Mato Grosso do Sul (ecoturism, caves and diving into crystal blue lakes)
Ouro Preto and Mariana - Minas Gerais (historic cities with a lot of colonial architecture and lots of mountains and waterfalls)
Capitólio - Minas Gerais (a maze of canyons with rivers inside and a lot of waterfalls)
Gramado - Rio Grande do Sul (a european style city in the south of Brazil, very romantic, usually couples go there on their honeymoon, there’s also a famous chocolate factory in the city)
i know u don’t have the time to go to all those places, but i just hoped i could give u some ideas of some of the famous beautiful places in Brazil so u can research a little about them. hope u see this :)

Guys, just one thing: NOT EVERYONE is trying to rip you off! Traveling by vans in Brazil is VERY VERY COMMON....faster than traveling by bus. When they follow you to the bathroom and all around that’s a bit much and they were not selling vans, it was a private taxi. We would have been fine with a shared van. They were offering very very cheap prices for a private taxi only 60 real for a 2 hour taxi ride when it’s supposed to be more like 200 real. It seemed way too good to be true. That is the same price as a bus.

@@lindseyfw2903 , you have to remember that it is COVID time and they are not getting many tourists so better to get the price down and get someone than no one. These guys are working and not looking to rob people. And yes, it is kind stressful to have people around you, following you to the bathroom ( I have experienced that in the US actually). So, but the most important thing is that for you guys to have a good time. I know Ilha do BoiPeba, it is a very nice place, people, as usual, are very friendly. Enjoy it :)

Before leaving Bahia you have to go to Chapada Diamantina! Just watch a few videos from there and you'll fall in love, the nature is stunning, you'll be energized there. Guys, you should visit Morro de São Paulo! It is located on the island of Tinharé, next to Boipeva. The place is very beautiful and has several paradisiacal beaches. The so-called “Fourth Beach” is awesome! I think it is very easy to get there from where you are. There must be a regular boat transportation between the islands. Another two places that I highly recommend to you in Bahia are Trancoso and Itacaré, both located in the south of Bahia. I hope you are enjoying our country, although things are very different now at the pandemic. It is actually a great suggestion, you can take a Catamaran directly to Salvador from there. Take anti-nausea pills before though (get in a drug store something like Dramin B6/B12), most people get sea sick but is really fast and beautiful. In the morning the ocean is calmer, in the afternoon definitely take one Dramin.
