It's nothing but just a dictatorial behavior of the govt.... actually the main issue is of PCA framework in which 11 public sector banks have been framed by RBI which is highly suffering with crisis due to back to back disastrous economic policies of govt and thus they can't lend loans to big corporate houses.... and that's why govt wants to bypass the RBI autonomy.... And then Urjit Patel who blindly supported the govt in taking disastrous measures is now realising his duty as an RBI governor and thus he is now "enough is enough". these 3 lakh which the government want to grab at any how is just for his big corporate friends and nothing else....
All the big corporate defaulters were benefited during the Congress era. This money will be used to fuel MSME loans, under the new 59 minutes loan approval scheme for small and medium businesses. Whether funds should be squeezed out of RBI or not can be debated but suggesting that current govt had anything to do with defaulting loans is absurd and ignorant.
