Ive always thought deadstock fabrics were so cool, the fact that you can use the same thing as big designers

I wonder how expensive it is. Sometimes I feel like the fabric is what makes a design exciting, and sometimes it’s just how creative the design is.

Little tip for your thread problem: Fill up a second bobbin and use it for the top thread instead of the cone!

on a side note if you serge the elastic to the waistline and then fold and top zigzag stitch it down it’s such a cleaner finish and you won’t have fabric rolling 🩷
idk if anyone has said this but you'll be able to do a faux coverstitch with a flatlock stitch! It only uses three threads too so you could have saved yourself so much time and have been able to keep one cone of thread on your sewing machine too. Also I run off a bobbin of thread if I need an extra.
I was totally giggling and shouting at the screen, “Make an extra bobbin!”

I told myself to read more this year also ! I set a goal for 100 books which sounds ridiculous but I listen to audiobooks so fast (listening to audiobooks also counts as reading) I’ve already read 11 books so I’m on a roll!! I hope you reach your goal this year Jenna!

Had 3 thick books for Xmas and I've just finished them all, couldn't put them down( The discovery of Witches series, so much better than the dvds.) On book 4 now but must crochet more this month and give my eyes a rest😂😂😂❤

hey instead of taking the whole spool out each time, grab an empty machine spool and put your brown thread on it like a bobin and you wont have to keep rethreading it!

So about your thread... I just wind up 2 bobbins with my serger thread and use those on my machine - one on top and one in the bobbin. No more back and forth with the spool.
