Now… I don’t doubt everything he touches is a genned mon (like… his brand is cheating which I can’t stand lol) however there are berries that reset EVs and help max friendship so a lot of people like myself will have effort ribbons and less-than-max EVs for that reason on occasion. I find sandwiches more efficient to maxing friendship quickly so I stopped using those berries recently anyways. But it happens

There are two marks in this game that nobody seems to really talk about. They give your pokemon the title" The Great" and "The Teeny", i don't know tha marks names thogh. You can get them in the west side of Mesagoza from a trainer standing beside two pachirisu near a flower bed shaped like a pokéball. These marks are given to your pokemon if they're either the max or the smallest size its species can come in. I'm pretty sure any pokémon with "The Former Alpha" or "The Former Titan" Marks will receive "The Great" Mark Guarentee due to them being the max size!

A mark you can get (not quite ribbon) is called the Partner Mark. I got it on my Gallade, and all I did was battle with it for a long time with him first in my party. 😊
Maybe it could work if you trade on a wireless connection like the local trade thing with a friend in the same house without connecting to the internet
I was never into competitive Pokemon, but I tried it out in Sword and Shield. I played both singles and doubles, but ended up liking doubles the most (aka VGC). If I was able to do it, most people can. It will take a lot of time to get used too in during the first couple of seasons, but once you get it, it usually takes you a week to reach Master Rank with a good team (which you can easily get via rental codes but I never used them). I got the Master Rank ribbon for around 60 or more of my mons I got in that gen. So hey, if you want that ribbon, try competitive!
@@thepyropitbull yeah just take it easy. Accept the fact that you will loose a lot at the beginning but learning from mistakes and improving upon them is one of the things that makes it worth your time if you like Pokémon.
How'd you pull it off? I used shining and encounter 3 dragon, got rid of all the group pokemon (like greavard and Sneasel with the Autobattle), and slowly despawned everything (so group pokemon wouldn't spawn), and got nothing, is there something else you're supposed to do? Or am I just unlucky? (Yes I have Shiny charm)
@@josephjoestar_ You'll need to turn autosave off (to save your ingredients and repeat the process over and over without needing to make it again), then you hunt for it. It's possible without the Shiny Charm too.

The eve's arent complete u need it to turn white and that indicates its ev's are full. U can have a complete ev in 2 stats and then u have a few extra piont to use after u assign those points the ev spread will turn from yellow to white. This honestly just shows that, that pokemon was hella gened
When EVs are maxed (252 in 2 stats and 6 in anything else) the yellow showing EVs actually turns light blue so maybe you just have to max out 1 or 2 of the EVs?
I believe it sparkles when you max at 252 and turns blue when you cap EVs at 510. So the pokemon shown had 2 maxed EV stats but was missing the 6 EVs for the full 510 to turn blue. Not sure if the Ribbon can be claimed before getting the full 510 or if the Ribbon was claimed after maxing EVs then they were reduced with berries to respec or something.
@@KKatrineNerea If the chart turned blue, then it is maxed EVs, just not maxed in a specific stat. You can use EV-reducing berries on the stats you don't want EVs to make sure they have 0, then get EVs in the stats you want maxed. I believe each berry reduces by 10 IVs and it will say it can't go any lower when it hits 0. For example, if you wanted to max the Attack and Speed EVs, give it a berry until it says the HP, Def, Spec Atk, and Spec Def are at the lowest, then train its Attack and Speed until you get the gold stars. Keep in mind that after the 252 in Attack or Speed (or whatever else you want) you'll still need another 6 EVs in a different stat to max them so it turns blue.

Love the channel, idea for Dec26th. EVERYONE who has the game, now has double shineys. I have 6. If everyone gives away their doubles on dec26, alot of people will get free shines to start a new game game, or get new shines they didn't have before. Either way, if everyone does it at once, on one day, a lot of people are going to be much happier playing the game then the day before. Good day to start a new save file, give away the doubles your never going to use, and maybe have a new favorite you won't have to hunt for.
You should see if you can get the box art legendary by saving in front of them, letting your friend battle in your game and then resetting. For example: I let my girlfriend into my world in front of my 2nd Koraidon in Area Zero, save, then she battles and catches it, leaves and I reset to get the legendary as well
From my personal co-op experience, I think that probably (?) doesn't work, unfortunately. My fiance and I went to get ours together (I play Scarlet, he Violet) and all I saw was my Koraidon while he saw his Miraidon in the exact same spot. One of us catching theirs didn't do anything in the other game at all. Makes me think that even if you're on the same game version it's most likely always two different "instances" of the Pokemon - not like Shinies or Paradox Forms where it's the same exact Pokemon existing for both players.

That Paldea champion ribbon can be obtained in other way like you mentioned. The others are hard working Rank battle and EV training. Correct me if I hear that wrong
From what I gather, any pokemon you have in the game can have random titles (hence why you can boost the chance of 'titles' with your sandwiches) so it'll just be that you found one with a random title on it 🙂👍

Can someone tell me how I got the Partner Ribbon? The Gourmet Ribbon I understand, but a few of my Pokémon have the Partner Ribbon and I don’t know how. And yes, they didn’t used to have the ribbon when I first got them.
I think it's randomly given out to a pokemon with max friendship. But it's random I've had a few mins just sitting at AMC friendship I use them a lot and they just won't get the mark but then randomly out of nowhere they do get it so just make sure it's max friendship and keep using that pokemon and hopefully eventually ni ni ni ni ni ni ni. The first thing I did in this game was find an Eevee, and Ditto, and get my Eevee evolutions. I probably have 4 boxes of Surprise Trade Pokémon. I guess I'll have to see if I have this elusive ribbon!

The only chance would be if you got your Pokemon back from a surprise trade that could possibly have the ribbon. I got a Growlithe with my OT I surprise traded with the ribbon
I recently caught random shiny Magnemite and it had a Scholar Mark! I wasn't even hunting for it, I was just going from raid to raid while hatching eggs. I do have the shiny charm so I really can't say if its full odds or not. I had no sandwich buff whatsoever just the shiny charm.
That one in a million is not wrong. The chance of the ribbon appearing, and it also being a pokemon you want to use competitively is astronomical haha

That surprise ribbon sounds extremely rare! To have it on a shiny is even rarer again!
And have it be on a Pokemon you want to use competitively is even more rarer. Shiny Hunters are gonna lose hair over this if they try to go for it

You can only max out 2 when it’s blue with no sparkles that means none are maxed but you have the max ev’s spread thru all the stats

I would recommend buying the other box legendary on Ebay there only 1.00 to 2.00 dollars really cheap. That's how I got my Koraidon for Violet.

I have a question, can I surprise trade between two switches with the same pokemon over and over to get the one-in-a-million ribbon, as long as the mon you're surprise trading was given to you for example in Pokemon Home?
suprise trade is with a random person so im not sure if that would work. I think you mean link trade which wont count unfortunately :(

Can someone tell me how I got the Partner Ribbon? The Gourmet Ribbon I understand, but a few of my Pokémon have the Partner Ribbon and I don’t know how.
And yes, they didn’t used to have the ribbon when I first got them.

I think it's randomly given out to a pokemon with max friendship. But it's random I've had a few mins just sitting at AMC friendship I use them a lot and they just won't get the mark but then randomly out of nowhere they do get it so just make sure it's max friendship and keep using that pokemon and hopefully eventually ni ni ni ni ni ni ni. The first thing I did in this game was find an Eevee, and Ditto, and get my Eevee evolutions. I probably have 4 boxes of Surprise Trade Pokémon. I guess I'll have to see if I have this elusive ribbon!

That's how I feel about not being able to transfer my Kingdra for the Hisui or Paldean ribbons
The only chance would be if you got your Pokemon back from a surprise trade that could possibly have the ribbon. I got a Growlithe with my OT I surprise traded with the ribbon

I recently caught random shiny Magnemite and it had a Scholar Mark!
I wasn't even hunting for it, I was just going from raid to raid while hatching eggs.
I do have the shiny charm so I really can't say if its full odds or not. I had no sandwich buff whatsoever just the shiny charm.
