    There’s this TH-camr called official shimm he’s been in the navy for 3 years now. He said never pick the bottom rack because people will step on your rack to get to theirs and it gets dirty

      U should watch his videos. He says that you should get shower shoes with holes in them so that they dry quicker

      Haha i could see that! And now that I'm on a ship i have plenty of friends who have bottom racks and some people love it, cause its easy access, but I can def see both sides.

      I followed him before I joined and I like his videos. I have bottom rack and i actually like it. I have a mat on my stuff but most of the time no one steps on mine.
      Each rack comes with its pros and cons. For example middle rack, people will put their stuff on it and top rack it can be a pain for putting your stuff in it. Just depends on the person.

      On my first ship before it decommed i had a bottom rack for 3 years and loved it. I had a leather square swatch for when people need to get above me to their rack. I have a middle rack now and i lowkey miss having a bottom rack. I have more issues with people stepping on my rack now than when i did having a bottom rack. Every spot has pros and cons

    soo question: in the military we can have perfume and stuff?? i never hear anyone talk about it, but i planned on having my dad ship me some if we can have it😂 - also, this one is a little personalish, but after bootcamp are we allowed to wear other underwear other than like full coverage granny panties?😂😂 ** thanks for another informative video!!🥳✨

      I second the second half. Just found out they give you bras I was like 🤯

      For clarification, they give you bras and underwear in bootcamp only. I threw away all those after I got out of basic and yes on a ship you can have perfume. My bad habit is perfume so I order it online or I buy it on base. I have alot fo perfume, I'm lowkey addicted.

      Hahh so yesss!! I love perfumes, spritzers and scented lotions and have never had problems... really.. although I do remember it being brought( up not about me but about another girl) and they said it was 'too much' and that for people with allergies she should be more mindful. That being said,,, haters gunna hate ahah, but I'd day overall, I haven't had problems. Maybe don't drown yourself and you'll be more than okay. Also I think perfumes/cologne is only ever frowned upon when people use them to mask body odor cause they havent showered. Which I PROMISE YOU is a real things and I so wish it wasn't but some people are very gross. As far as granny panties and the ugg sports bras, girl TRASH them after boot and keep any old stuff you already have or buy yourself new stuff. You are not required to actually keep wearing that mess haha.

      On a 5 month deployment or just living with others on a ship you will have that one person which we call "the foot" because they stink. As bad as it sounds, sadly, there are people like that.

    okkkk another question i just thought of - sorry for the barrage of comments lately😂😅 okay so when you deploy and stuff, all your belongings that you’re not taking with you get stowed away in your barracks room? isnt there at least a closet that locks shut? just wondering! thanks again!😇❤️

    • @mastyfitness3200
      @mastyfitness3200 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m watching videos as well and apparently everything that can be opened has a lock on it. So when you move in if they come in for inspection and your lock isn’t there you get in trouble

    • @kelsieramirez4076
      @kelsieramirez4076 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you have a barracks room you get kicked out of it when you approach your deployment date. In regards to on ship deployment we had a rack and locker and you have the option to put over flow in a seabag locker in the depths of the ship which i DO NOT recommend as mold is a huge issue. I always used my work space to store stuff. Usually workcenters give you a cabinet or cubby to place personal items like paperwork, snacks, and such
