Sir you are terrific... You are best teacher in youtube i have come across...sir you are doing great job...your style of explaining and making things simple and easier is commendable. Usually i dont put comments in youtube but i couldnt resist in your case. Sir where are you from and where do you teach?
Instead of checking further can we directly say , Every function dependency is divided into separate table and if key is not part of this then create 1 more table for key..?? Is it a correct?
Hello, I have a question here. How do we deal with a case where there is a circular dependency that means in R(ABCD) we have given that A->B, B->C, C->D, D->A....how do we find the candidate key in that relation and then convert it further into normal forms?
sir in example no 4, we found that AB ->C proves that R is not in 3NF, so we decomposed AB ->C i.e. R1(ABCI) but sir here A is a prime attribute and it finds I which is a non prime attribute so there should be no problem but sir you have again decomposed R1 to R11 and R12. Why so sir?
Sir, Can you solve the following question to decompose the table into first 2NF and then 3NF? Given, the relation: R (a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, i, j, k, f) and the FDs: a -> c, d, e; a, b, g, h -> i, j, k, f; j, i, g, h -> f, a, b. Decompose the given relation first into 2NF and then 3NF. It will be of great help if you help me in this sir.

in 2nd and 3rd example why we are not creating a separate relation with only keys i.e. R(AB) when AB is a candidate key.. unlike 1st and previous examples?
I have a doubt. If relation is given A->DE and D is a prime attribute but E is not and A is not a superkey so can I say that this relation is valid for 3 normal form??
3rd example me BD and DE Me decompose kiya gya but B Part of cadidate key and prime attribute ek non prime ko identify karra to ye toh 2nf me hi nai hai kaise 3nf me ho gya
*Sir in questions ma to apny simple ye btaya hua hai k A--->B OR AD--->E but sir actual problem hi to yahi ha hamin samjh ni ati k konsa attribute kis ko determine kr rha ha normal questions ma ye ni likha hota k ye attribute isko determine kr rha yahi chiz find krni parti ha so kindly koi method btayin jis sa hamin asani ho k ye attribute isko determine kr rha ye ni kr rha etc....

Just reduce the number of ads, or organize them in a little better way as it breaks the concentration while watching.

21:11 just to convert a relationship table to 3NF we need 6 table so will it take more space in database?? Increase the complexity??
Sir please make a vedio in which we have more than one candidate key
Sir,
Can you solve the following question to decompose the table into first 2NF and then 3NF?
Given, the relation: R (a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, i, j, k, f) and the FDs: a -> c, d, e; a, b, g, h -> i, j, k, f; j, i, g, h -> f, a, b. Decompose the given relation first into 2NF and then 3NF.
It will be of great help if you help me in this sir.
Best explanation sir, it will helps me a lot in fourtcoming exam .Thank you sir
sir can you please teach how to check dependency preserving and lossy/lossless nature of decomposition

C→B,B→AE} What are the prime attributes of this Relation and
Decompose the given relation in 3NF
🙏 sir solve this problem
A,B,C are candidate keys
and A,B,C are prime atributes
this relation dont have any partial or transitive dependancy so, it is in 3NF

How do we decompose this relation? R(ABCD) F = {AB → C; BCD → A; D → A; B → C} The candidate key is BD.
Best lecture sir
sir pls upload videos on lossless join and dependency preserving
SIR VERY GOOD LECTURE SIR
In 1st Example, R12 mei, B candidate key kaise Bana? Can you please clear my doubt , tomorrow I'm having my exam... thanks sir
If beta primary attribute only and alpha super key with beta primary attribute ...................plz give example such type?
sir at 17:41 you have mistakenly included ( A - I ) which is a partial dependency . 😎😎
I too observed it . 😎😎
Kya ye method se semester exam me solve kr skte h????....jldi bta dijye...mera exam 30 may ko h
if you had added 4NF 5NF and DKNF then it would have been even more beneficial.
Thanks sir but also upload computer network series please thanks again
Thanks a lot!

Sir, can you kindly explain again why have you made the table R4(A,B,D) in decomposition ? I have a doubt in this part .
Same because H determines J but it's not a part of Candidate key.
Kindly explain anyone
Bahut pasand ai hai
Sir in question no 4 . There is mistake because sir here in R1 we decompose it but sir why because here candidate key is A ,so already the table is in 3 NF so why we decompose it into R11 and R12
In question 1 .. R3 me jab AC Likha to D kyun nhi add Kia , C bhi to D ko determine Kar rha hai???
Ya isliye kyuki R2 me CD include Kar chuke Hain??
In r3 we have written only candidate key we don't have to write anything else as we have already done decomposition earlier in r1 and r2..
@@priyankayadav3646 I had actually forgotten..what was my doubt..even after reading my comment ..m not getting it...but still thank you for replying🙂

What will we do if a prime and non-prime attributes altogether are finding a non-prime attribute?
R22 Mei koi bhi candidate key ka attribute nahi hai sir ,,, then won't it be lossy ? ??
