Hello, This is sinthu from srilanka. Basically I'm from commerce background but later I just found, like wait "this is not my cup of tea..."I should learn something most interesting and challenge full things. so, I decided to change my career in to software development or software engineering...To be honestly,I know nothing about it. Then I've learnt something then I made a path through the data base into software field.but I had no idea about DBMS where..."thank God"I found your channel. I've been learning lot of things about it because of you.....just i say this "THANK YOU" for this. Specially students like myself this is huge help. Now my confidence level 100% I can definitely break it down everything in this field..THANK YOU..THANKS A LOT...keep doing this great work...God bless you...and I have to say this "you simply gorgeous not only you but also your helping soul..."all the best👏👏🇱🇰👍👍let me answer plz... is that 23 videos covered entire DBMS or should I learn more?

it is loseless since C is teh CK of R2, but when you unite the dependencies, you are missing one and thats why its lossy. I had a problem with that too :)

mam, when you have further decomposed R1 into R11 and R12, in that case, the dependency has not been preserved. It is because (F11)U(F12) is a proper subset of F1. So, is it right to do so ?
The explanation I can make of this is that you have said that dependency may not be preserved if the relation is converted to BCNF. In this case R11 and R12 are in BCNF. Is my explanation right ?
btw, so much thanks for the video.
