A large part of enjoying you slow stitching videos is seeing your beautiful hands and manicure at work! My hands will never be as pretty as yours. Sarah. But I'm totally inspired to take better care of them so I can enjoy them as I work on my various hand stitch projects! ❤❤

Hi Sarah. What an incredible gift to find your channel! I'm a 52-year old housewife in South Africa who has LOVED all forms of hand embroidery and embellishments for as long as I can remember. I started doing Goldwork about 17 years ago - and then my teacher moved away and I didn't know how to finish. I remember, years ago, when I looked for tutorials on Goldwork and silk ribbon embroidery. There were none on TH-cam! That's how old I am. 😊I love your channel. Please keep sharing your knowledge with us. ❤

Thanks for this slow stitching tutorial. It had me soooo relaxed that I fell asleep watching - and had to watch again to catch up with the bits I had snoozed through. But this is a delightful way for anyone to express their creative sides, using simple fabrics and a few stitch types. Thank you for your work on this. The result was beautiful. ❤

Thanks dear Sarah, we appreciate all your time and suggestions.
I use in my projects left overs from my clothes, left over from my friend who fix clothes, and recently left overs from a friend who made Christmas decoration. So, I got plenty of fabrics, and some how we contribute to stop left overs from the confection industry, to go to the garbage.
Going yo the thrift store is a good idea. Thanks dear

Thanks for the tip to use plant books, a tool I forget I own! Love your explanation to slow stitching. I am following other channels that have slow stitch tutorials and I do so look forward to your videos. Love using flowers but I need to explore more techniques. I have recently been looking at your ribbon flowers. Take care Sarah, I look forward to the next tutorial 🧵🪡 Cheers Anita from Australia.

It's very helpful that you always do one stitch at a time. Some embroidery videos, they will combine stitches and place their needle into two consecutive stitches at one time. That makes it more difficult to follow how the stitches are done. Thank you for providing the PDFs of your designs.

When you look at the flowers closely l, you can start to see how to construct them with different stitches. Some are harder than others (those are the ones not in the videos!!!🤣)x

Lovely, a little suggestion, pop your pins on the back of your work instead of the front, this way you don't have your thread constantly tangling and fighting with the pins. I have done a lot of applique work and now I enjoy the process more since I don't have to fight with the pins.

Very sweet; thank you! Do the cards that you use come with envelopes? Any chance of stocking some cards/envelopes like these in your shop? They really are great for small finished embroidery pieces. 😊
