Best cover of "Rebel Yell" I've ever heard done! This ol' gal was 17 years old when Billy Idol released it. I didn't think anyone could give it justice. Andy Sixx has the perfect voice and scream for it and the music is much heavier. It's a must on my playlist, especially when I'm flying down the road!!!

I'm an 80s child, and was definitely around when Billy Idol released this song, but I have to admit that this cover is pretty damn awesome. I'm a newbie BVB fan, and probably one of the oldest, but I have to say that I really admire Andy. He is a very positive person.

They really can't match the power, and just enthusiasm that Billy Idol put into this song.
This is the best cover of Rebel Yell. But no one can do it like Billy Idol!
Believe me, it's a fine take on the song I've got no problem, in comparison to their usual works, this is actually pretty good. However, I prefer the original Billy Idol composition alot more. That's my opinion. Think what you want.

It's definitely a good take on this song, and a good way to mix things up but the original still tops out in this case. Now you want a real example of the new version surpassing the original try bowling for soup's take on "I Ran". Way better than flock of seagulls by far

I started listening to black veil brides when I was 13. I'm now 4 months away from 16 and i love everything about them. i grew up as a prep (EEW) but nowadays im proud to say im a rocker and love every minute of it:) im proud of who i am:)
Ashley, jake, jinxx, cc, Andy they are all so fucking talented WHY CAN'T I BE LIKE THEM :(, I think Jinxx is the most talented he can do at least 6 instruments, Guitar, piano, Violin, cello, bass, and Viola.

Didn't live through the 80's, but grew up with music from the time. I agree 100%. This cover is great, but Billy's original track is amazing.

They ruined a really good song. And to avoid any comment fights, here's my disclaimer. I am not saying BVB suck with every song they make and/or cover, I'm just saying I don't think they did this song justice.

I wasn't alive during the 80s but I do know you're right. I'm one of those people that listens to all genres and I look at music this way; if you don't understand the origins then you'll never completely understand the music of today. Billy Idol was and is an amazing artist and singer. But I have to say this, Andy does come close to his version. He's a great artist today that mixes 80s rock with today's metal. So hearing him do this song I can't help but to respect it.
The more you respond in such a way, the more you prove me right. You can deny it all you want, but then it really sounds far more like you're trying to convince yourself than any of the rest of us.
He uses what he went through to help others, and that's a beautiful thing.
I have to say I am old enough to remember when this came out by Billy Idol, but this is a great cover and I love Black Veil Brides.

i do like their style, I am a huge motley crüe fan, and their stage presence is very good and energetic, it's all about presence, well done to them for doing what they love and making a ton of cash along with it, they are growing on me.

Personally i think that everyone should just listen or not listen to the music and stop having fights over TH-cam. It gets a bit annoying to find only hate in the comments or little fights when you want to see some nice, happy, encouraging comments for the band.
I think they did an amazing job with it ... better than most bands when they cover classics
