Jon, your comment about your acquired skill over time is so very true. Thank you for your narration and the detail you provide in your content. Once I am done with these ( 16 more months of videos to go :-) ) I will check out your blog.
Love the design of this! Thanks for making these videos - there's not a lot of coverage of non-gundam Bandai models on youtube, and I love the detailed painting approach!
Glad you like them! I'm grateful for your kind words. Be sure and check out the Snowspeeder build too - you might like it! (th-cam.com/play/PLZt56FNuWOKfsvsng-cmJwujD7d131myS.html) Thanks for watching and commenting!
Many of the newer kits are quite good. When I was doing aircraft, I actually built 39 various Airfix kits. My focus now is on scifi, so I've not found anything from Airfix that caught my eye. It would be cool if they'd kit some though! Thanks for watching and commenting. 😊
@@justarandomclonetrooperwit8119 I've actually built all of the Airfix Spitfires in, minus the newer Mk. XIV! I covered those when I was blogging - check it out here (www.jonbius.com/?s=airfix). I also built other Airfix kits. I'd built the B-25 years ago, though I tend to avoid their older kits now. They're certainly buildable, but often a bit of a hassle. The Mk. Is are cool. I built a couple of their "old" 1/48 Mk. Is from the early Hornby period, and then two of the later ones. I built two of the 24th scale kits, and 2 of the 72nd scale kits also. I'm a huge Spitfire fan - I've built 84 of them in total! :D
I'm brand new to models! I'm using your video to paint the A-Wing. I was wondering if you would help me identify what you used on the cockpit. I can't seem to find the correct metallic red and blue. Any chance you could be so kind as to let me know the product number? I really appreciate this video. It is way outside of my scope, but I am trying. I bought two A-Wing models for this, so one to test, and the other to try seriously. This is amazing. Thank you for helping me find a great hobby.
Hey Michael! Welcome to the hobby. It is great fun, and well worth it. The blue color is here: www.migjimenez.com/en/acrylic-colors/562-warhead-metallic-blue.html The red is here: www.migjimenez.com/en/acrylic-colors/1226-metallic-red.html You could order it directly from there, or use the stock # info to search for it elsewhere. Thank you so much for your kind words. it is so great to know the videos are helpful to modelers. Keep having fun, and best wishes!
Nice work, these Bandai SW kits are some of the best around. I'm about to start building the vintage mpc A-Wing kit, it needs some work to bring it up to proper standards and the pilot figure is a awful joke! Oddly, a better looking A-Wing pilot can be found in the old TIE Interceptor kit! Clearly, you don't have these issues with the Bandai models!! Build on!
Thank you for sharing your detailed review on the Bandai A-Wing! I can't wait to get my hands on this model and build it. May the Force be with you!
My pleasure! I hope you enjoy the build. It's a load of fun.
Thanks for watching and commenting - happy day to you!

@@JonBius checked your review of the airfix p40b,excellent review defo feel like it's one of the most underrated airfix kits

Bandai makes great kits in general. The GUNDAM pens would work great on these as well.
