What Miele don’t tell you when you buy one of these machines is the cost of all these cleaning products,10 degreasing tablets in uk £18, 6 descale tablets same price £18,the descale tablets you have to use two at a time in hard water area,the degrease one tablet.We have had our machine for just over a year,has worked fine except for one glitch on the cleaning cycle.

How do you clean the back of the machine. Mine is complaining with F73 which I suspect is because the mechanism in the back wall of the machine is clogged up with grounds. I've gone through the official steps for that fault but now the brew unit won't go back into the machine because the back gear is out of alignment.

some times for deep clogs a sanitized vacuum head might be the answer :)

Cleaning the milk pipe works - remove milk container but not getting the ‘ok’ so stuck

You can try either cleaning the contact points of the milk container, or try a "hard shut off" by switching the circuit switch. If resetting the machine via the hard shut off does not work, I would recommend calling a Miele technician in your area to assist you.

Hi I just got a a brand new CVA 6800 Miele coffee machine.. Trying the Cappcucino but the milk dispenser doesn't dispense the milk. It makes the noise but no froth or milk comes out of the dispenser.. Before I started preparing Cappucino, I rinsed the milk flask and hence the rods and lid were wet.. Could that be a problem? Any tips appreciated. As I said it is a brand new machine and trying Cappuciono for the first and hence I assume the milk tubing etc are clean. Appreciate help

if you have tried this and also all the tricks in the milk pipework cleaning video and still no go, calling Miele technician direct would be the next best action to take.

Hi, depending on which part of the world you are in, and on water quality, the machine will notify you automatically when it needs cleaning up.

please check out other videos about cleaning steam oven, also works for steamer, but have to manually wipe / drain as steamer does not have a drain, unlike combination steam oven.

Has anyone noticed that using the milk cleaner leaves the coffee with a bad taste?

some times, depending on your water quality. You might want to do another rinse after running the program. --> maintenance --> rinse milk pipework.
