Check the settings for the crisper drawer. The crisper drawers have priority cooling, they gets cold first. Check the settings if storing vegetables. Make sure only veg icons are selected (yellow). If meat is selected the the vegetables will freeze

John My CVA 6805 fault reads "push water container in until it engages" any advice

Go to the settings and look for main water and set to ON.
Are there any alternative degreaser tablets or descaler products or tablets than the expensive, overpriced Miele one?
I recommend using the miele descaling tablets. You can find them on Amazon
