- How about 200 likes/comments for my new DSP tries it? Nothing but high quality khantent here and professional uploads from the one and only DarksydePhil.
So in this video we're going to get to see some of the most professional videos ever uploaded in the history of youtube. For this one I decided to focus on videos that he uploaded to his main channel which is DSPgaming. His " bread and butter " as he likes to call his " business ". Since day one DSP has always had a quantity over quality mentality and that's pretty much what this video is about. Imo all of the videos that I used to create this one should never have been uploaded to youtube in the first place. We're talking about black screens with just audio, HDCP errors like crazy, him searching through the Playstation 3 XMB for over 10 minutes looking for the sign out option and the list goes on and on. He also uploaded Street Fighter 5 matches where his opponents were standing still and I've been saying it for a while but his greed is completely and totally out of control. Oh man I can't believe I forgot about that but you're right John did say that and I agree with him 100%. Back in 2008 he was able to get away with that due to there not being too much competition on youtube. That shit doesn't fly anymore in 2017. Everybody and their grandma is uploading gameplay to youtube especially now that consoles can do it with just the press of a button. Phil should have adapted and he probably would have more subs and more views which means more money. But he'd rather press record, stop and upload like the greedy and lazy douchebag that he is.

You guys are being too harsh on him. It's not like he could have taken off the VR headset to make sure they could see. That would have taken 5 seconds. He's a business man, he doesn't have that kindof time to spare, making kwality khantent.

Yeah, Phil would be the person to upload matches of AFK opponents for the easy money and views.
I think he's the only person that's ever done that in the history of youtube. I could be wrong but I've never seen anybody else upload Street Fighter matches where their opponent is not doing anything. It just screams, laziness, greed and just overall him being a douchebag. He doesn't care about what he uploads. He just wants people to watch it so he can make money. It blows my mind how he still has fans to this day.
Even with stationary, AFK opponents you still hear him mashing lmao he has the timing and reaction of a 6 month old.
Also, nothing keeps your viewers coming like showing them a black screen for 20 minutes then calling them fucking idiots for pointing it out because 'there was no way I could have known', apparently once you put on a VR headset it's impossible to lift it off your face for half a second to peek at your TV.
I absolutely love these two comments. Sad part is that he couldn't even get a perfect on a character that's just doing the same kick over and over again. You're right about the headset though. The thing with the headset went on for like I think it was 27 minutes. So I can just imagine the few viewers he had there getting pissed. Serves them right for tuning in to that lazy conman's greedy stream.
Oh btw get this he was "splitting " the parts as he was streaming the whole thing live. So every 10 minutes he would be like " alirght I'm going to split the part hold on a second...... Hello everyone! DSP here and welcome to my coverage of the Playstation VR ". Or something to that effect but imo that was the laziest and greediest thing I have ever seen on youtube.

Yeah Phil didn't have any issues with the netcode in those 3 matches where his opponents are simply standing still. Those are probably his favorite matches in Street Fighter 5 without a doubt.
Doesent help i have gigabit internet while everyone has low quality internet and yet i still complain about lag.

You would think that Phil would be able to get at least one perfect on an opponent that's just doing the same attack over and over again. My favorite part is when he's surprised that Karin is able to kick the " knife "(actually it's a kunai) away even though it's always been like that since SSF4 at least.

I think he tried to get Dark Souls to run on the bottom right corner but for some reason it just didn't work. It probably didn't work because his setup is shit.
Of course Phil is one of those guys that just pummels you while you're AFK instead of being cool and just dinking around until they get back.

The worst part is he recorded it all and uploaded it as if it was something to be seen. He sat there bitching as if the other person was responsible for the content he uploads.
Same thing when games crash or bug out. He doesn't just quit and restart, he has to sit there and ham it up. "Uhhhhhh.... look at this!" *ACK ACK ACK* Any other person would just quit, restart, and get back to the gameplay.
Just give it to him, this is the only time he'll taste real victory anymore.

Well when it comes to Phil he always finds a way to fuck up even the simplest of things. Wasn't he complaining about the same thing with his PS4 as well? That he was running out of space so he was going to buy another hard drive? I kinda remember that but i'm not sure. The funny thing is that he has no problem formatting his PS3's hard drive but deleting worthless videos that nobody is going to watch? Phil " welp I already recorded it. May as well just upload it and make money SNORTS! "
When you fill a harddrive to its capacity or over its capacity without paying attention it corrupts and you get "black screen of death". The default harddrive in a playstation wouldn't let you download something that would do that, so he must have been using his own bigger HDD. You wouldn't be able use it, so yes, you would have to format it.

Well I do apologize for that but certainly wasn't my intention when I made that intro. This is the first time I receive a complaint like that in regards to my intro.
I think you can fix that with a longer fade in. That fade is so short it didnt give me enough time to lower my volume

Soma Julius Cruz To be fair, and I'm not defending Phil by any means, the PS3 was complete garbage compared to the 360, Xbox One, and PS4. PS3 was a pretty shit system, a huge downgrade (besides graphics) from the legendary PS2, and it's successor the PS4 was much better in every aspect as well.

I'm thinking of checking that out now. The people that made that were professionals that knew what they were doing and they actually had a sense of humor. Phil is not a professional and his sense of humor is abysmal. He probably thought it was going to go " viral " or something like that.

Yeah or just beat the player as quickly as possible and then NOT upload it to youtube if it's a casual match. If it's a ranked match then just let it end in a draw. That's what I would do if I encountered an AFK opponent and it was ranked. It's kinda sad that Phil uploaded the matches anyway in hopes of making a profit. Too bad the views were shit so he probably made a quarter on each of those videos.

The only videos Phil has ever deleted are the ones that screwed his channel out of the search rankings. Other than that if he pressed record, stop and upload then it's going up on his channel. I don't know if this is true but I heard that one time he screwed up during his record,stop upload "method" and he ended up recording an 8 second clip which he uploaded anyway as part of the playthrough.
